I have Suter for Senior Seminar. He is amazing! Very intelligent and very understanding of the stresses of senior year. His class is fantastic, so entertaining and informative.

Comment:

Dr. Suter is one of the best professors I have had at BC. He knows that you are there for general ed credit and doesn't teach you like you are an English major. Would highly recommend taking classes with him you will not regret it.

Had him for Studies in the Novel and American Lit I. Suter is a silver haired, banjo playing, ponytail wielding, ladies man (JK), educated-redneck (don't tell him that last part!!!) version of Jesus with a dry sense of humor. Take him! He is the chair and the celebrity of the English Department. Everyone even the guys have a man crush on Suter!

Didn't quite know what to make of him. One day I thought he liked my class and the next I thought he was going to fail us all. The class itself was a little on the dry side and was fairly difficult because of the mass amount of reading. Overall it wasn't a horrible class but be prepared to actually do the work and contribute.

Dr. Suter is amazing! I love his classes and I love his dry sense of humor! He is a hoot and I look forward to going to his classes! He is great to talk to outside of class and he love to have discussions in class! That is something that does not normally happen in other classes and it is a refreshing change!

truthfully this is a great teacher, he knows his stuff but does not belittle the other students, like say Omara does, he is very open in class and alows students to communicate openly and without feer of being wrong. by far one of the best (if not the very best) teacher at bridgewater

I don't like English, but I actually enjoyed this class. Suter made it so easy! We read 3 novels, wrote a 3 page paper on each and then wrote a research paper based on one of the novels. I would recommend him to everyone! He is the best professor in the English department!

I've had him for American Lit 1, Intro to Lit, Image of Folk, and now for Senior Seminar. Great guy, insighful discussions, and managable tests. He also has great taste in music, but that's neither here nor there. I think calling his class "easy" is unfair, it's more that he just has a less stilted approach than others in the department.

I only had him for one class, but he is extremely helpful and his tests aren't too difficult. Grades fairly, and is very laid back. Did I mention his sexy goatee? If there's ever a boring class, his goatee will keep you focused....too focused.
