Comment:

I don't care what people say. Politics aside, Yenor is THE BEST professor I have had at BSU. Knows the content forwards and backwards. Can apply concepts to current day. Wonderful lectures. Funny and engaging. So much helpful feedback on essays. I cannot speak highly enough about Yenor. Will be taking again in the future.

Comment:

YES, you will hear many things about Prof. Yenor. What is most true for me is that he stands out as one of the best teachers I have had in my very long college career. For political science students, his classes are vital for understanding the how and why, not just data and logistics. If you want to be challenged and learn great things, take him.

Comment:

Dr. Yenor was great overall. His class was very engaging . He had a great mix of both discussion and lecture that I felt was perfect for learning. I learned a ton! He is also a very tough grader and expects a lot! Your papers have to be perfect to receive an A, but he's also willing to bump you up if you show a high level of understanding.

Professor Yenor is honestly a genius. I love his lectures, and despite the grind of reading the various books we had to buy, his class has been the best class I've taken in a long while. If you're looking for a challenge, be sure to get Yenor.

Yenor can be cool and funny, but his classes are tough, and not in a good way. His grading is completely arbitrary and he gives little guidance on what hes looking for. His advice for how to study for the final was not to. His teaching is unorganized as well

Yenor is one of the smartest professors I've had. This dude is full of knowledge and his lectures prove it. He is a tough grader and assigns a lot to read. Loved the class, but he made me work for it.

10/10 would not recommend. This class was so difficult. He grades hard and there are only a few opportunities to receive a grade. Theres a lot of reading and you have to buy 5 books. May god be with you if you chose to take this class.

Dr Yenor may be the only Poli Sci professor worth his salt here at BSU. Difficult? Yes. You will read, you will write and you will learn. Do not take a Yenor class if you are not willing to engage with difficult concepts. You're wasting his time and your fellow students' time. Honestly engage with the material and Yenor will blow your mind. Cheers!

He is easy to talk to and accessible, but can bring up some inappropriate things from time to time. Overall, he was good. His grading criteria basically depends on how he feels that day.

Prof. Yenor assigns a lot of reading and he will make you work for your grade. This class ranks on the high end of tough courses I've taken in my academic carer. With that being said, he knows his stuff and I learned so much in this course. I would definitely take another course with him as the instructor!

I get that he is funny and what not, but he also grades super harshly! Like more than half of his feedback is based just on your spelling and sentence structure. But its solely based on his personal preference, and not because it is actually wrong. Really annoying! Give lots of homework, grades harshly, boring class, he just talks for 1h straight!!

Yenor is an amazing professor. He's a stickler with writing, but he genuinely just wants you to improve. He has a great sense of humor and I'm never bored in his class. He is hard, yes. You will write quite a few papers and read a lot, but I still loved the class.

Dr. Yenor is incredibly helpful. He makes sure to set aside time to meet with all his students. He is a tough grader, but why go to school if you don't want to be challenged? Overall a useful class to take and I recommend him to anyone motivated to learn. Do not take if you want an easy A.

I took him and Gardner for UF 100. This class is full of busy work. There are weekly CREDS do every week, which are basically just mini essays. He takes this class more serious then it needs to be. You have to work for the grade you want. But if you want an easy class than I would not take him! It is pretty much an intro to Philosophy.

he makes cut and dry, memorable and relates it to everyday experiences. Don't think you can slack off by any means. His lectures are some that I would sit in on, even if I didn't have his class. Inspirational!
