Comment:

Good teacher, great at engaging the entire class. You can tell he is passionate about teaching, as he hand picks his material and relates to it. He's got a great sense of humor and never gives standardized work. My only complaint is that I think arts and lit is open for interpretation, there's no concrete way to interpret such things.

Comment:

If you're taking a literature class expect to read and write a lot. The material is really interesting and the conversations with Sean makes the class even better. Participating in class discussions will boost your grade a lot and are friendly, comfortable and nonjudgemental. Read the material, speak up in class and you'll be golden.

Fantastic Prof!!! I loved going to class and listening to him speak! This class was a fantastic survey of American Literature and a joy to take. The one thing that I didn't like about this class was the fact that he assigned a book of poetry written by another professor, but other than that great class, I would definitely take this professor again!

He just knows an amazing lot about ... well all sorts of different things. This makes class very interesting, but it also means he goes off on weird tangents and forgets what he's doing a good deal.

I loved him! He's really funny and knows his subject well! We only met once a week, so attendance was mandatory, but you could do a paper or something if you had to miss. He was really great. One of my favorite teachers ever. Hard grading on papers, and he makes you work hard to reach your full potential. Take him!

Definitely one of the best teachers I have ever had! He is very helpful and willing to discuss any questions. He also focuses his class on what YOU want to learn, while still meeting all requirements for his exams. If you are going to school for education, TAKE HIS CLASS!
