Dr. Ellers is a great teacher! Her class is quite easy to pass as long as you show up to class and take good notes. Even though it was easy to pass I definitely learned SO much from the class so I would definitely advise taking her class if you are considering psychology. Comment:

Professor Ellers was amazing! The class was not hard at all, but if you don't do your homework/assignments you will not pass. She assigns lots of extra if you need it. There are weekly quizzes, and a paper (5-8 pages) that you will have to do, but it was not bad. Her lectures were interesting too! All quizzes, midterm, final were take-home.

Professor Eller's is very laid back. She ask for weekly readings and quizzes and makes each test available before class. I enjoyed her teaching style and her openness, she will work with you if you have travel plans also :)

Comment:

I didn't like this professor at all. Her rubrics for writing papers were not clear and she doesn't try to make the instructions clear for students who take her online class. Her feedback isn't helpful either because it's so confusing. She doesn't post online lectures, so it is difficult to learn from the book and powerpoint slides alone.

Comment:

Awesome teacher, very lecture focused, makes all assignments and tests easy by giving exhaustive study guides and aids. Loves student participation, doesn't require attendance, and is flexible with redrafts and deadlines, wants you to get a good grade. Will be taking as many classes with her as possible. Easy A in my opinion.

Prof. Ellers's material is straight out of the book. All tests are online through the publisher and they all have study material to come with it, so it's very easy to pass. No in class assignments, quizzes, or tests. She's very good at explaining course content and relating it to real life. Great professor, just make sure you have the textbook!

Dr. Ellers is the sweetest teacher I've ever met. She is so understanding of busy schedules and she was very educated in psychology. Very helpful, and very laid back. I'd take her if you need psych 150.

Fairly easy class as long as you read the book. Weekly (open book) quizes on blackboard, one midterm, one final, and a self reflection paper due at the end of semester. The rest is just lecture with power point going on the reading from the book.

She is probably one of the sweetest teachers I have ever met. Very clear about what she expects and very fun to listen to. From the first day, I knew I was going to love her class, and I did. I would definitely take another class with her if I had the chance.

Took the Web based course. Very straight forward and everything you need to do for the entire semester is listed right at the beginning. 8 online multi-choice Quizzes, 1-2 Extra Credit Quizzes, Midterm and Final exam (100 q. each) 1 Final term paper. Self learn class, not much teacher - student interaction but she's always willing to help.

Best online class I've ever taken so far. Dr. Ellers is very helpful and understanding; she will work with you. She is very organized. There are 8 online open-book quizzes, 2 online open-book extra credit quizzes, 1 midterm and 1 final (both proctored, 100 m/c each), and 1 paper. As long as you read the chapters, assignments and exams are easy.

Pretty easy class, definate A if you attend all lectures and follow along. I didn't read the book but if you just go over the power points you'll do fine. Midterm and final is multipule choice open book. EASY. Not very interesting class though, she lectures the whole time with pretty much no class participation.

The online Psy 150 is GREAT.! Sooooo easy to do well. She gives open-book tests and you can rack up so many points on them that even if you get poor grades on Midterm & Final, they're enough to carry you through. I had so many points going into the Final that all I had to get was 40 out of 100 to get an 'A'. Term paper was easy to do and she doesn'

Lifespan Development - Ellers is very clear, interesting lecture - she doesn't provide for much (or any) class discussion, but the topic is interesting. Yup - lots of reading, but the text is good. Quizzes online and mid-term & final in-class (100Q multiple choice).

I took her online class. It was very easy. Just read the chapters, take the open-book quizzes on blackboard, and show up for the mid-term and final. You have to be motivated to keep up on the work, because there is not really any accountability throughout the semester. You have to keep yourself going. She is available if you need help though.
