This was literally the hardest class I have taken yet & he doesn't make it a whole lot easier. USE THE BOOK, it was pretty much all I used to make it thru. If you are confused or struggling, don't be afraid to ask for help!

WORST TEACHER EVER. If you have to take this class as all miller pre business people do. AVOID HIM AT ALL COST. I would say it is work taking another semester if you cant get another teacher. No help, unclear, condescending, and above all he can't teach.

He was a nice guy, but if you go to his office hours he does not help you at all. Go to the learning center! also the hw is difficult and he does not give partial credit. The tests are hard but that is bc it is a hard class, overall i think you would be better off if you did not get him as teacher!

He was HORRIBLE teacher. His lectures are absolutely incomprehensible and have nothing to do with what is on the test. You learn about theories, not what economics is. Also, the book is hard to understand.

I took him for ECON 116. Out of every class, I went to MAYBE 7, and got a C. They key is to read the books. NOTHING he tells you in class is on the tests, NONE of it. And its all essay. PLEASE read the books on the chapters you are on and memorize it. He gives you ALL the test questions prior to the test. I didnt go to class and got a C+ take class

I took NREM 303,they combined it with ECON 311.One of the hardest classes I had ever taken.I found him interesting and most of the information very useful, but difficult to comprehend. Tips: go2EVERY class, keep up on READING, ask him questions til you get it,even if he makes you feel dumb, dont!no one prob. understands it either and will apprec. it

Absolute worst professor I have ever had. One test average for the class was below 50% and he blamed it all on the students and not his teaching. Get out while you can.

I would not wish this professor on my worst enemy. He makes this class completely what he thinks and is not open to any other points of view. Do not take this class if he is teaching it. Reading before class everyday I still had problems doing the homework which ended up killing my grade in the class.

Mr. Keil is boring at best. He is a good man, but has a difficult subject to try to teach students! The class is very difficult. The tests are some of the worst I have ever taken. Study, study, study to pass this class!

This class is required for all business majors, and yet he manages to make it a living hell. It's really hard, really boring, and he is not helpful at all. Do NOT take this course with him. You'll regret it.

Run away! This class is almost impossible. You could probably go to a class where the professor is speaking some ancient form of Aztec language and get more out of it. He spends alot of time on stuff that isnt relevant to the test not to mention he goes really fast considering how complex the material is....dont get him

Dr. Keil is one of the worst professors in MCOB, if not the worst! He has zero people skills and doesn't give a care about the success of his students. This guy's gotta be living the high life on tenure because that's the only way someone of his poor teaching standards would be a professor. Do yourself and your GPA a favor and get out!

HE was the worst professor I have ever had, all he does is write on the chalk bored for 50 minutes and doesn't explain any of it, his notes make no sense, all together, he makes NO sense! I don't know why ball state would ever hire this guy, Im sure HE himself knows what his purpose is, but I didn't!

I liked him, yea most of the class failed or ended up with a C or D. But I'm an Econ major so I found the class very interesting. 3/4 the Test questions come from his study guides. I got an A in the class, good prof.
