Comment:

He is a great person, just not very good at teaching. "I hate making people memorize formulas", then makes you memorize 30+ formulas for the comprehensive final. Once you have the formulas memorized it isn't so bad, but he doesn't explain very concepts well, especially nearing the end of the course. You will have to watch youtube videos to learn.

Comment:

The best Math Prof at Fresno State. His lectures bring the material to life. He thoroughly challenges students while being fair all the while. Taking this class with him was a wonderful experience. Get ready to work hard, learn a lot, and laugh at his wit and sarcasm. Take his class!

Comment:

Daily online homework, 4 test, and final. Dr Delcroix knows his course material very well. I found Calc 2 easier than Calc 1. Provides lots of examples that will be on the test. He write in cursive but you'll get used to it. I would take him again if he teaches another course that I need.

There's no doubt that Delcroix is one of the best Math professors I've ever taken. He's super caring, explains things very clearly, and had very engaging lectures. I would take any math class for the sole purpose of having him as a professor again. Amazing guy.

The class was easy but it was easy for me because of my background with calculus already. Dr. Delcroix was a great lecturer if you are confused just ask him on the spot. You HAVE to go to lectures because they are not online. But he teaches details and makes sure you understand everything. Overall everything was pretty easy just go to SI!

Grade is made up 4 exams, and 1 final, and online hw, no quizzes too. He's a likable guy, mock exams were given for 3 out of the 4 exams, study those and you should pass. Nice and clear lectures in class, he does write in cursive sometimes, just a heads up. The textbook used was available on Mymatlab as an e-book when you purchase online hw code.

Amazing Professor! Explained everything in multiple ways and answered questions before we even had time to ask them. Go to class, do the homework each week, 3 tests, 1 final, and half a letter extra credit for passing the CRT! Definitely would take his class again!

Professor Delcroix was a pretty good instructor. Homework is time consuming but an easy A since you get unlimited tries to get the answer right. Tests are tricky so don't freak out if you receive a D on your first exam. He goes over a lot of material each lecture, so attendance is important

One of the best math professors I have had. He is great at explaining things and is pretty clear as to what he expects from his students for the exams. 3 exams, 1 final, and homework every week. If you do the homework correctly then you should be pretty prepared for the exams. Its not an easy class, but if you prepare well then you will pass.

Amazing teacher, I really wish I could take all my math classes with him! Very clear lectures. Cute accent, understandable. Tough grader yet fair. I didn't study (just did hw) and managed a B so for sure study for your A!! Very very helpful! Nice! JUST AMAZING! Plus he's very good looking!

I want Delcroix to teach all my math classes! He's very clear in class and helpful in office hours. We had 3 tests and 1 final, all of which were similar to the homework so as long as you practice all the homework problems until you're comfortable with them, you should be good to go. Definitely take Delcroix if you want to learn and do well.
