Professor Zhou is the best teacher i have had at UTSA. She was so helpful in her office hours and tried her level best to make sure everyone succeeds. I really enjoyed her class and she made economics fun and worth it. I recommend her as she is the best econ teacher at UTSA. Her tests are challenging but if you study you will get an easy A

Comment:

Professor Zhou, is one of the kindest and helpful teachers. She teaches very well and makes sure she tries to be as clear a possible. I totally recommend this teacher. She has helped me in her office hours and her tests are not difficult provided you have studied. I would say she is the best professor for me and made economics so much easier.

Comment:

Her accent is pretty hard to ignore and what she says gets difficult to understand at times, but you get used to it. Attendance is pretty mandatory and you have to keep up with the class. Only 4 grades and they're all tests.

Mixed feelings about this professor. She is extremely helpful if you ask her questions after class, but during she might not answer them well. Her accent is thick, but not the end of the world. Her tests are hands-down tough. Must know material well=read. Know fill-in the blank notes word for word and you will ace the tests. She is sweet and kind.

SHES NOT HARD TO UNDERSTAND AT ALL. Her quiz's are pop but straightforward if you paid attention. I think people have trouble understanding her either out of something to blame, or because San Antonio has like three asians in total.

WARNING : DO NOT buy the book or study guide for this class. You will easily waste 300 dollars. Take the notes provided on the powerpoints. Go over them for a few hours before each test and you will have an easy A+. Tests are straight from the notes. She is also a very nice professor.

She DOES NOT have accent. I understood everything what she said. People who complain are the ones who wanna earn an A easy without learning anything. She's very kind every time when I ask her questions that I have to know. She never embarrasses me, instead, explains from basic level until I understand. The result is I made an A+!

Extremely dedicated. Dr. Zhou is an easy professor. Attend class, keep classnotes and read textbook one time. Then easy A+. I'm an American, and I understand her accent very easy. Espeacially if you have Qs after class, she sits and explains until you understand very kindly even basic Qs.

This professor and mirco class is very easy, she gives out guided notes that she goes over in class. To pass, just show up to class, pay some attention, fill out notes, and study before tests. She does have an accent, but it is managable

She did a proper job of delivering the material, but it will be a difficult class for those unfamiliar with econometrics or management science. She handed out notes for us to supplement, and her exams were open note/book but you must prepare regardless; homeworks took a long time to complete. I would take her again

Macro- notes are fill-in-the-blank, she couldn't make it any easier. I never used my book. Provides formulas on test days, accent is rough but she writes everything down. Only people I know who failed were freshmen. GO TO CLASS, it's boring but if you want an A, put forth the effort. Ridiculously easy, and she's a nice lady, very approachable.

Horrible class. I don't recommend taking her. Hard to understand her, her lectures are useless because she teaches using notes that only make sense to her. Take this course only if you plan on teaching yourself or you already have a lot of previous knowledge for this course.I have never failed a class but this has been my first.

Nice lady, but her lectures are like pulling teeth. She tries to help and holds study sessions before exames, but they are done in an inconsistent manner. Attendance isnt mandatory, and honestly it doesnt matter if you go to class or not.. its just.. awful.

Do not take her! I get A's in all of my classes but I struggled immensely in her class. I had to get a private tutor and i am still really nervous abou the final. She seems nice but she only drops the first test grade. TAKE MY ADVICE AND DON'T TAKE HER

I took her for macroeconomics, albeit her accent is a bit rough to understand, she was a very good teacher and went by class notes, most people that do not do well in her class skip often. Her class notes are very easy to follow since they are your notes. Notes are very similar to test. I made a very easy A. Excellent teacher and knew the material.
