Yeah, I don't suggest taking her either. Failed US History I midterm for reasons still unknown to me. She is very knowledgeable and helped me out but after failing the midterm I was treading on low waters. At the end of the term I passed, but I was very disappointed. Still, she is nice. Avoid, unless all you're looking to do is just pass.

I took several courses with Dr. Williams, and I found her to be very engaging. He classes definitely require a lot of work, but they are interesting. Not a professor for students who do not appreciate history or learning.

Took a few classes with Dr. Williams. She expects students to work. She doesn't waste time trying to get students to work, if you don't she moves on with those who do. As long as you do the work and talk in class, she isn't too difficult.

This lady is ridiculous. She tests you on things she doesn't teach you, her grading is very inconsistent, she leaves the rudest comments on your work, she downgraded someone for writing "have not" instead of "haven't"... seriously? Don't ever take her, unless you find failing exciting.

This professor is definitly a nice woman and she is very intelligent. I enjoy her classes, however, the work load she assigns is impractical and outright ridiculous. This teacher assigns ridiculous amounts of work. She expects people to act like the class is a priority, even though most take it just for the credits. She is a very nice lady and the class is kind of interesting, but the work makes it absolutely unbearable. Only people who are willing to devote 5+ hours a week to a single class, should take it.

Lots of boring books. Poorly organized. Expects you to have transportation to get off of campus for projects. Changes her mind on projects and papers a lot at the last minute or tells you the wrong one is due. Grades unfairly.

Not a traditional lecture. Promotes a collegial atmosphere where students are expected to be co explorers of historical topics sharing discoveries and working together. Does not spoon feed information. Classes can be boring if no one feels like participating. Evaluations are fair. She is flexible willing to work with you. A nice lady.

i was bummed to learn that i was required to take history. dr williams made me LOVE history. her approach is totally different....no remembering 3000 dates, just the story and what was happening. SUCH a great class. i will take MANY more with her!

She is clearly interested in the subject, but she draws it out so that you are so BORED!. Too many books 6-7 which she only uses sparodically. She thinks she is soo intelligent, so kiss up and you will do well.

Nice lady. Very interested in what she teaches. Classes are extremely boring. Takes attendance. Tests and papers weren't too hard. Did better in the class than I thought I would. Tries to make things interesting. Very fair and friendly. If you ask her for help, she'll go all out to help you.

She's a nice enough lady. Not a hard class; lots of notes to take, but theyre clear and make studying easy! All notes are posted online if you miss a class. I love US history so i enjoyed it. One 3-5pg paper. Only problem was that shes very (politically) liberal and not afraid to talk like it.

Extremely unclear with assignments. Not a fair grader at all...I mean REALLY inconsistant. A nice lady at heart but her grading is unbelievably unfair. Worst grades I've gotten since I came to college. Very smart woman though.

The class isn't always exciting, but she uses a lot of visuals instead of just lecturing. She has a lot of interests and shares them and seems to like when we share back and make comments. It's not a stuffy environment.

Awesome teacher! Extremly nice isn't a push over makes you learn and teaches well. I loved every minute of this class and didn't miss it once!
