Comment:
This professor doe not respect the students. She is an embarrassment to Cornell University and University of Montana. Don't take her class unless you have too. Be done with it. Watch out for unfair treatment and her hitting on certain students.

Teresa has a lot of experience in her field and has the potential to be a good professor but her Intro to Soc class was awful. Almost all of the course work was online and mandatory and she would just repeat what you learned from the online work it was very boring and unnecessary. I would not recommend taking this class from her.

About the same as 270. Very easy, especially if you go to every class. Skim the readings. Do not disagree with her on test essay topics, despite what you believe. Lots of extra credit.

Such easy upper division credit. If you attend class regularly, reading isn't necessary. And Theresa is nice enough, she even offers the entire class recommendation letters at the end of the semester (if you pass).

Terrible! Reads straight from outline, doesn't demonstrate expertise in her field, I had no confidence that she knew what she was talking about. Tests are designed to be tricky, not objective measures of what you know.

She reads her lecture to you and all the info is directly from the text. She can't deviate from her outline. She isn't insightful. The mean on 2 of the 3 tests was a D-, mainly because the questions were poorly written.

WORST professor I have ever had. Takes an interesting subject and makes it boring. Reads lectures straight from the book. Tests are designed to be as tricky as possible instead of to genuinely assess whether you know the subject. AWFUL!!!!!!
