I had zero problems-- the class was very enjoyable and relevant to my interests and the type of writing I want to pursue. She had great insights and feedback. The class itself had technological issues but she was very flexible as a result of that.

She was a good teacher, took her online class. She was always willing to help and always made sure we knew where and when to reach her. If you don't like writing I wouldn't recommend the class, however. Since it is creative writing all of the assignments are based on writing and discussions with classmates.

Professor Crater was absolutely amazing. She was encouraging but also critiqued when need be. I am really sad that all of my English professors here on out are far from the same. There was homework every week but it was never too much even with a 15 credit semester.

I really enjoyed this class. The class is self paced except for the tests do have certain dates they are due by. She gives second opportunities to get more credit on discussion posts. I really liked her and she gave great feedback.

Professor Crater is an amazing teacher! I took her online for ENG 1010 and would recommend her to anyone needing to get this class out of the way! Her online course is set up to go at your own pace and it was convenient for me taking 18 credit hours!

I prefer Dr. Crater as an online teacher. In person, she's pretty scattered, but online she knows her stuff. Good luck ever getting 100% on any of her assignments, though...

She is a great professor. I am awful at writing papers and she helps me actually be better at writing rather than just giving grades out.

I took her Intro to Lit class online and it was pretty easy to keep up with. All you need to do is post to the discussion board once a week about a reading and the discussions are worth 100 points each, so it's easy to rack up the points quickly. It makes life easier if you have the book but I wouldn't call it a necessity.

It's not easy and there are a lot of assignments but it is passable. She does not have due dates which is really nice if you are busy, just remember to keep up with the work because everything must be turned in by the end of the semester and it piles up fast. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK, you can find everything on Google and the book is super expensive.

She is a great person, but this class was just too dang hard. She would give us a review for the test, and none of it would be on the actual test. Studying for her tests just takes a bit of memorizing certain quotes from the poems we read, which I found extremely difficult. Loved her as a teacher, hated the class unfortunately.

Ms. Crater is not a great professor. The course was WAY too easy. It could have been a high school class, in all honesty. She would leave generic comments as feedback for assignments and I did not understand her grading scale. Each discussion post was woth 100 points and sometimes she would only take off a few points without explaining why.

She has only a surface understanding of the subject she is teaching (Native America Lit). If you offer her constructive criticism on her teaching or try and help her understand how technology works (she can't operate basic internet functions) she will lash out and attack you personally. She then will hold a grudge that reflects in your grades.

Discussions devolve into efforts by a few students to dominate. If you want to spend a semester in the 1960s she's your gal!

Dr. Crater is a very interesting teacher. I'd gotten off on the wrong foot with her, but after a few discussions, we now get along great. This class teaches you how/what you should write for commercial purposes mostly. Even if you're not interested in that, the rules are good to learn to expand yourself as a writer.
