Dr.Vann is a good professor. I would highly recommend her. Shes a lot better prof than it indicates on here. She's very accommodating to students with disabilities and she understands that mistakes happen. She has allowed me to submit my paper late several times due to a miss-communication. She can be awkward but makes comments that'll kill you!

Papers assigned are given no outline and are very confusing to start writing. I once wrote a whole paper that I thought was well put together and she failed me because "it wasn't what she was looking for" even tho she never stated what she wanted in the first place. Classes are boring and don't help with quizzes or papers. Dont take this class

Class is not interesting. Very boring lectures and notes are hard to keep track of. For a 100 level class, it can be difficult at times and she assigns many papers. She can be funny, not the friendliest.

Terrible teacher, grades hard, i got an 18 out of 100 on a paper that was 5 pages long. She never tells you what you need to do, and i got 0 ouot of 9 for not going above and beyond the assignment...10 people already dropped out, after 3 weeks

She is a good Prof; she def knows her stuff. There are only quizzes and papers. Quizes are easy; papers can be a little tricky. She tries to make her class enjoyable which is a nice change. She's funny too.

Dr. Vann is a good prof who definitely knows what she's talking about. She has textbook and online readings assigned for each class period-you don't have to do them, but they help. Also, no tests, just quizzes and papers. The quizzes are easy if you prepare beforehand, and the papers are pretty easy if you spend a fair amount of time on them.

Boring as hell. Classes were always lectures, and it was completely unworth showing up to class. Papers were really unclear, and the tests were a joke. If you take this class, do what the guy sitting next to me did... sleep everyday! You'll get just as good of a grade as if you were awake.
