I loved this class so much. If you have an interest in women's studies, or history- you should as well. His lectures are really incredible, and although there is a lot of material to cover, overall the class runs pretty smoothly. He's there to help you whenever you need it. Tough grader but fair- really funny and engaging. GOOD PROF.

His lectures are very engaging and he makes the subject come alive. He is easy to understand and take notes from and he makes the subject interesting. However, he is a very hard grader with near impossible standards to take a class with him if you're interested in the subject not if you're interested in getting an A

I had Krainz when I attended CU Boulder. I've since received a bachelors and masters in history and criminal justice, respectively. He is the best professor I have ever had and is the reason I became a history major and later a history teacher. His lectures literally make history come alive.

Probably the best teacher I've had at FSC so far. Extremely knowledgable and SO funny! He will really get you to like history. However, you have to study in order to earn your grade. He is an extremely tough grader. His tests are all essays. I definitely encourage everyone to at least have one class with him!

Krainz is amazing. He's funny and wicked smart. He wants you to succeed but he expects you to work for it. As long as you show him you're trying (and I mean really show him; be in his office every chance you get) you'll get the grade you deserve.

One of the best professors I have ever had! He always makes the class laugh. Expects alot of his students but if you do the work you will be fine. He will read papers before you pass them in and will help you study for tests but you HAVE to go to his office hours.

awesome guy, soo smart, lectures are soo entertaining, learn soo much! picks great books to read, don't bother buying text book, he won't use it. tests are hard...essay form, but all worth it, take good notes, don't miss class

Krainz is the best history professor at FSC. His lectures are always intresting, and he is willing to go over drafts of papers. He is tougher than other history professors but his classes are well worth the effort. You learn alot but you also have a great time in class.

Krainz is the best professor I've had at FSC. He is challenging, but he's always willing to help! His lectures are so much fun, he makes history interesting and really easy to listen to... and that's hard to find. I would definitely recommend taking his class!

HE ROCKS!! Wicked funny and entertaining... NEVER in my life did I think i'd enjoy a history class. His absolutely random comments add humor to the class... However the final grade is based on just a few grades so if you mess up once you might as well drop the class. But he offers MUCH help
