I walked into Tim's math lab back in 1985 when it was located in the police building southwest of the bookstore. I had been playing tennis and I asked if I could brush up on my math skills so I could take a physics class. Tim was my first contact with Chaffey and he motivated me to take more classes. He is an icon at Chaffey and great individual

What can I say about Mr. Arner that hasn't already been said? He is an icon at our school. With compassion, creativity and patience he gets the hardest concepts across to his students. He is always there for his students. Me might be a bit disorganized but if you have a hard time with math he is the teacher to take, he will do everything to help.

Iv'e taken this Professor for all my math classes at Chaffey. His way of teaching is hands down the best I've had thus far. Professor Arner has the patience to teach students at their own pace. For example he has available hours outside of his classes in the Math Success Center where his students can get help with math from him. BestMath Professor

I just had Professor Arner last semester and he was a wonderful teacher that I as a former student would highly recommend. I recommend him because he's a caring instructor that devotes a huge amount of time to his students to ensure they succeed. The course work's clearly laid out and there are a lot of extra credit opportunities.

Mr. Arner is awesome. Math is a subject that I hated the most and I was worry about the class after being away from college for the past 30 years. Mr. Arner was patient and understanding which made the class enjoyable. The test and quizzes are fairly easy as long as attend class and do your homework.

Mr. Arner is a great professor, he is very interested in seeing his students do well in class and takes the time to make sure you do understand the work. The Math Lab is important and take notes in class. Attendance is important and if you have questions ask. I recommend him and will take all his math classes.

510 was ok yes he is wordy , his heart is in the right place, but to many people asking questions at same time . He can not help a crowed . student do not respect each others time to talk with hem He jumps from one to the other student not completing help He thinks he is helping but not quite so.I will take hem 520 hoping for morehelp.

Good teacher, but tends to ramble on about stuff that is not important. He is a book teacher meaning that basically he expects you to go home and read the book and do the homework on your own and then comeback and talk about it. Which didnt really work for me cause i dont learn good teaching myself.besides that he gives lots of extra credit

Great teacher, tends to be alittle all over the board.or someone that needs more then one test to get the grade. I found myself using the success center more then usual. At times I felt self taught. I need a more structured professor but overall he is still a great professor. Just didn't match my learning needs.
