Comment:

I had Dr. Martinez for Gvts of the World & Pres. and Congress. While he can sometimes ramble, I find it enjoyable because it takes the conversation into unexpected territory. Tests are not difficult if you complete the review and listen to lectures. If you're not interested in the world, you'll be bored. I loved the courses, personally.

Great professor once you get accustomed to his teaching and grading style. His political philosophy classes are the best. Enjoyed every class I had with him.

His tests are not too hard if you memorize the terms on his study guide. There was only one paper to write, but make sure you find a news paper to cite that he likes or you will got docked a lot of points. He is super boring, but the essays on the tests come easier if you go to class and listen to him ramble on.

Good guy and an alright teacher. This is an easy class to skip if it needs to be..because it's just usually him going on and on. Never take him in the morning otherwise you WILL fall asleep.

Comment:

Well, I hated him. His lectures were boring, and put everyone to sleep. If you stayed awake, you were drawing to keep yourself awake. He got off subject all the time and rambled about useless crap. Also, he lost the one paper that we had to do for his class, and told me I didnt do it. He found my paper, but wouldn't raise my grade, still "late". :(

Taken many classes with Dr. Martinez. Very good professor once you get used to his style. He is alot of fun in upper level political-Philosophy classes (that is if you are into that kind of thing)

A very effective teacher; he does his job well. I've had him for many classes and have never had a regret or complaint. Beware: his lectures are known for putting people to sleep.
