The way he teaches is productive, not personable really to his student however. Test heavy, final is worth 40%. Practice, practice, practice.

Professor Basile not only lacks compassion for his students but lacks respect. I missed a test with a doctors note and he would not let me retake it then discussed my injury with the fellow students. I ended up not passing because he wouldnt let me make up a test that counts for 30% of your grade. Also no resources are available.

Your grade is determined by 3 grades the entire semester. First exam covered about 6 subjects, second exam covered 2, and then the final covered the rest plus cumulative. The final is VERY hard and will destroy your grade. There arent example problems or real homework problems. He puts a few online and thats it because hes too busy. Dont take

I took both computer science and physics 101 with him. He's a nice guy and I enjoyed both classes I took with him. The only downfall is that he only takes grades from tests and nothing else. The only homework given is to study.

His class isn't too bad.. you definitely have to study and put some time in, but the material is pretty easy for the most part. His review sessions are really helpful as well with exams. No textbook or anything either is nice.

Great guy, was late two weeks into the semester and got me all on track. You put in work and you will be rewarded. Overall cool and funny guy. More than willing to help. I did pretty good in his class. Material is not hard but you need to pay attention. Truly enjoyed taking his class. Top notch

Dr. Basile is a really nice guy and he's willing to help you pass. He's also very flexible with test scheduling because he knows we're not computer majors and have other stuff going on. My only advice is don't take him for CSC 110 if it's a pre-req for stats because it won't help with stats at all. He teaches you a lot about computers but not stats

You learn a lot from the class. If you show up and pay attention then there is no reason to get below a B in this course. Makes the material easy to understand and gives you plenty of resources to study from. He is a bit quirky.

Excellent and Extremely interesting professor. He was very helpful and instructed the course very well. Mr. Basile was easy to understand. We did not use the textbook, but he gave out alternative material and was great at instructing the course!

Basile is very familiar with computers and generally does a great job of clarifying things when asked a question. He also doesn't care if you goof around during class as long as your assignments and tests are done on time/done well.
