On some level, she has to be aware that her political stuff is not appropriate in this setting. She also has to be aware that the captive audience is not going to be loud about opposing her stuff in this setting, and she is also not going to change many minds. Given all of that, the political propoganda comes out because she cannot control herself.

Good class, she keeps it interesting. It did get really irritating though listening to her political views on just about every case we went over. She would try not to, but it was made clear what her political ideology was at the beginning of the semester (same semester as the election). GWR is tough with her, but worth it in the end.

Great professor. Yes, she cancelled class twice, however, she was very ill, and I think that's better than getting all of us sick. She revised the syllabus accordingly. She gives you real life experience what it will be like in the real world. Breaks the material down for you. Take-home final, which I don't particularly enjoy, but I got an A-.

She cancelled 2 classes and this was a once a week night class. We watched tv shows and movies.... Horrible teaching style and terrible final. Avoid at all cost!!!

Average, except that she has the irritating habit of presenting political issues from "both sides" by presenting some weak semblance of an argument from the "other side" and then the "truth". And we know which side, because she wrote an article about the "war on women" in the alumni mag. Why can't she just teach law?

I took Family Law and Remedies from Thomas. She was great. Still use the family law knowledge and her Remedies practice tests and other practice test helped me pass 3 different bar exams the first time out each time.

Comment:
Remedies, Family Law, and ADR were all extremely interesting and engaging classes. You need to do your homework, but you should for any law school class. Excellent professor. One of my favorites. Down to earth and very nice but demanding. Extremely organized and all the lessons are well thought out. Highly recommend.

They tell you that this class is helpful for the bar. They encourage you to take it. They lie. Half of one question I had on the bar was raised a remedies issue. The pain of sitting in this class week in and week out was not worth it.
