POL101 was definitely my favorite class last semester. Professor Obasohan's lectures are both educational and entertaining. You will definitely need to read, as he will ask you to answer some comprehension questions. There's also online assignments, which are super easy. I highly recommend taking this class. Easy A if you do the reading and work.

Comment:

I have never been interested in politics but after taking this class, I am now more aware of what is happening currently. I would recommend and take this class again. All of his exams are based/exact same on the workbook pages he assigns. However, be prepared to read since he asks everyone questions!! He offers extra credit throughout the semester.

This class was very straight forward if you follow the the instructions and go to class you will most likely leave with an A or B. The tests are based on the workbook and everything you need is there.

I love Professor Obasohan! He really knows what he is talking about and as long as you do the study guides correctly, you'll have no problem passing the class. The online homework was extremely easy as well.

Professor O. was my first teacher in college, he was amazing you just listen during class and study the sample questions you will do great. He's funny and nice you will be called on so pay attention. I didn't miss but one day and i felt a bit lost granted i took this summer session so it maybe the reason why lol. Take him for POL!!!!! He's great.

A majority of the assignments and workbook questions are easy. He uses the exact questions off the study guide but would throw a couple questions here and there outside of the workbook. Very funny and helpful during class. One thing I did not like is that he didn't use canvas so that you can see your posted grades. :(

When they say participation matters, it MATTERS. If you're absent, he'll literally call you. He does not post grades so you have to ask him. I asked him a lil past mid semester, but he only had two tests on so I didn't really know my grade. It left me on my toes the whole semester, but I still got an A. Overall, he made lecture fun and interesting.

Professor Victor is amazing and his class is very easy . Although, lectures are heavy they are not boring instead they are interesting. As long as you study sample questions assigned you will pass the test. The test are in the exact wording of the sample questions.

by far the funniest professor. His lectures are great, he provides a lot of real life examples to get you to understand the concept. online work is easy, just need to verify with him to make sure your workbook answers are correct because that is whats on the test

He is very clear on what he expects from us. His homework assignments are easy and the exams are the same questions from the homework. He is funny but tough on you if you don't show any effort. Gives good lectures and calls on people to read from the book.

This is one of my favorite professors by far!! At first hes a bit intimidating however once you stick through the first few weeks you will begin to realize he is awesome at what he does and knows his subject, He is also really funny! You will need to book for this class but as long as you do the sample questions he assigns you will pass every exam

Best political science professor as long as you do your online assignment homework and complete notebook work you will get a good grade. The tests are based on your book questions they are almost identical answers

Okay my problem is he doesnt write notes and im very reliable on notes he never says wat page are we on and wat exactly Is the hw and things can get confusing at times so ur make sure u ask him after class questions or u will be lost make sure to record his lectures because I write slow n cant keep up with the info he verbally says

Professor Obasohan is very knowledgable. He comes off as strict but he has a heart for his students & does his best to make the class interesting! Homework and quizzes are straight from the workbook. No need to buy the textbook, you will get access to the eBook with the online homework you do. He is great & I learned alot from lectures.

Literally everything is in the workbook which is 100% like the test so to pass the test is remembering the answers from the work book and he will call on you randomly and is late 15min everyday

Great professor. I could not have cared less about political science prior to this class, and very much enjoyed taking it. He changed my mind about political science. HE IS NOT BIASED REGARDING PARTY AFFILIATION! Which was something that I worried about going into this class. Homework is easy, tests are out of the workbook! Take his class!!

I think the biggest problem for this class is the expensive book and a large number of questions to memory before class. Generally speaking, he is really a great prof. and this class is the one you can choose for credit.

A good professor, his lectures are not heavy you have to pay close attention and take notes, he moves on once everyone had it written down and makes it easy for you to understand. Funny, as well. Participation is a must.
