Great professor! Really knows what she is talking about. Easy to get along with. A midterm, a final, and a concert report is what you're generally graded on and another report for extra credit is available. Oh and you have to listen to a couple cds too. You won't regret it! Take it from me I took all her classes and got all A's! :)

Great teacher! She's really nice and you'll pass the class as long as you study your notes and listen to the CD's. If you're good at memorizing composers,song titles, and techniques then you'll do fine. The unit reports are easy! Not to mention, she worked with James Horner for the film Avatar!

She is an extremely like-able person. Shes subtly a rocker babe and reads essays like an english professor! Listen to the songs, study your notes, read the book 2x if your parents diddnt already tell you everything they learned at Pink Floyd concerts.

She is really easy. However tests are pretty hard, even I spent 3 hours study and listen music for the test, I only got a high B. But she gives you extra credit, which could pump you up a whole letter grade. Not a really easy A class if you don't put effort. I got an A and I enjoyed the class.

Guys, this isn't a difficult class, especially if you've grown up on rock music. Just study, listen to the cds, and you will have much fun! She's an amazing teacher, she explains things thoroughly and it sure beats Art History!!!

Fun class, but not as easy as some say. I got an A, but I did work for it. Make copies of the CD's and listen to them, read the reader, and study for the tests. I made flashcards, and they helped me learn all the Chinese and Japanese terms. Do the extra credit report it is worth an extra 10% of your grade! Good teacher, I'd take her again.

The best of the best. Knows a ridiculous amount off the top of her head....I dare you to stump her. Thoroughly engaging, and treats students like real people. Understands what it is to be young because she still operates from that youthful perspective, and thus can relate to students. Listen to the CDs,pay attention in class, and an A is guaranteed
