Teaching style took a week to get used to, but he is always explaining stats in an entertaining way. He is the fastest grader ever. His accent is not difficult to understand, check your racism. He can be sarcastic if you ask an obvious question, don't take offense, he will love you as long as you come to class and turn in work on time.

The class was pretty easy, an online quiz every week and exams are online too. He spent too much time trying to guide us through canvas.

I took this class after reading all the bad reviews and I cannot understand why he has so many! He goes over all the homework and test questions IN CLASS and uses real world examples to make stats make sense. The accent is only hard to deal with for the first day, after that you understand. Super accessible for office hours. If you go, you get an A

He is by far the meanest proffesor I have ever had. I study night and day for this class and he seems to grade me however he pleases. He is pure evil. He gave me no points on my exam even though my answers were correct but my sig figs were slightly off. When I went to talk to him about it he made me cry. Then made fun of me in class for it.

I'm doing pretty well in the class but he is one of the least effective professors I've ever had. He spends about 80% of the time repeating things he's already said and most of the time the things he says aren't useful to begin with. On top of this he is rude and condescending. If you have the chance to take this class with ANYONE ELSE do it.

I have never met a professor so condescending or rude, his accent is very thick & 8 am classes are not a time to be yelled at, he literally made a girl cry. On the plus side there is only one homework assignment a week and all tests are online, no extra credit. I struggle with math but this class is elementary and he complicates it beyond belief.

Without a doubt the best math class I have ever taken. Yoon gives in depth lectures & one of the "text books" is notes for the entire semester written by him (it's only $13 & essentially all of the test questions). He speaks perfect english & if anything his accent encouraged me to pay attention more.

This isn't your typical "I'm bombing his class so I'm gonna give him a bad review" kinda thing. Im doing really well actually. The class is easy and his lectures are relatively easy to follow. My issue is his class conduct. He is extremely rude, makes you feel very stupid for asking questions, and creates a very hostile environment.

The only real problem I had was him erasing the board before I finished writing it down. He has an accent, which took me a few days to get use to. He tries to make the students laugh during lectures too. I only wish we had used a different book. The book he used has a one star rating on Amazon for a reason. Hardest class I have ever taken.

He is very nice and does everything he can for his students. Sometimes it is a little difficult to communicate but he honestly wants to help so don't give up! Makes a lot of punny jokes. Ends class early. Very likeable.

No good! Just don't take Math 103 with him. There's a lot he doesn't teach and it's not the type of math that's easy to find out on your own.

Yoon is the best stats professor I've had. He returns homework, quizzes and tests the following class session (even if its the day after) with feedback and handwritten solutions to EVERY problem. There's a lot of homework, weekly quizzes, and exams are tough, but he is a VERY lenient when it comes to grade cut offs. Great prof overall!

Hardest class I've ever taken by far. A classmate and I still joke about how hard this coarse was. Attend office hours with Kim, it will definitely be the difference between passing with an A or a B. This class is incredibly time consuming and frustrating with the coarse work alone. Kim isn't the most approachable professor either but tolerable.

This online class is extremely easy and you can use ever resource except other people for tests. The homework is straightforward and so long as you follow the notes and his examples you will do fine. Tests are given a huge amount of time to get done, so just don't wait until the last hour. Overall, easier than a semester class, and worth it.

Prof. Kim demands respect and does not tolerate 'dumb' questions from students who fail to show up to class regularly. As a result the class is well mannered, quiet, and conducive to learning. He will love you if you are a quiet student, work hard, show up to class, and give him respect; if not, he will not hide his disappointment in you.

If you want to learn a lotl, take this class. Not recommended if you can't commit to attending class or doing the work. If you can accomplish both of those tasks you will learn a lot and easily get a good grade. Sometimes answers questions unclearly, in which case just email him and he'll promptly respond with everything you need to know.

He can be difficult to understand at first because of his accent, but I was used to it in a matter of weeks. He is loud, funny, and really tries to keep the class' attention. The tests can be really hard, but doing the homework and asking questions can really help.

While he does have an accent, it's completely understandable after the first week. He's funny and tries his best to get your attention in class. While he may not be the most clear when it comes to explaining, he will actually tell you which questions are on his test as you go through the notes. Just do the homework and show up. You'll be fine.

He does have an accent which he plays into his humor. It's funny, he's funny. It was a good class, and he took it slow as best as he could when students did not grasp concepts. He really does give you all the material you need to pass the class. If you fail, it's most likely because you didn't really try. Very simple class. Just try.

He has an accent, but it's seriously not difficult to understand. He is very willing to be helpful outside of class, and while he may not be the best at explaining concepts, he is willing to work with students.
