Comment:

The best professor l ever took, even after recently completing a Master's degree. I called on her and she helped me with my graduate work. She's unbelievable and has done so much for so many of us. I'm so grateful to have her in my life.

Comment:

Dr. Bolen was the best professor, as well as advisor, that I have ever had. Her expertise is obvious, but she goes above and beyond. I've been in a lot of classes, including working on my master's. There are none like her. Besides the outstanding knowledge I gained from her, she spent so much of her time helping every single student succeed.

I've never had a professor like Dr. Bolen. She kept our attention every class, for 4 hours! Not only is she a brilliant academic, she is also an inspiration to us, not to mention that her wittiness & humor was a joy to be around in every class she teaches. I was so glad this was not an online class. Her insightfulness and knowledge are priceless!!!

Dr. Bolen is the first professor tohelp me understand the human body & how to apply that information to do the best job l can for students. The diversity of my students will be enormous & the knowledge l gained from Dr. Bolen in Motor Dev. has made clear the many ways l can meet students' needs which will be SO developmentally different. Excellent teacher!!! My first two years at Athens state, I was a social science major. I hated all the professors so I swapped to P.E. I have had Miss. Bolen for almost all my classes and i love her! She is willing to work with you. IF you give the effort, so will she, and you will get a good grade.

Dr. Bolen saved me this semester, literally. I had out-of-the-ordinary life issure and she worked with me and even met me extra hours to help me with work I wouldn't have understood otherwise. I truly would have dropped out without her. Now I'm back on track to graduate in the spring. I've never/will never have another phenomenal professor like her

Gives specific feedback and provides a personal touch through individual emails instead of making impersonal comments in Blackboard like so many others do. She's very impressive and shows a genuine care about how we do in class. Outstanding professor - best l have had. I plan to take her now for an elective course.

Completely prepared me for the PRAXIS II Content and PLT Exams with her thorough lectures and relevant material. The time flew by and she helped us "learn" the material, not memorize it. I would recommend her classes to any one, and especially to any future teachers or researchers.

Dr. Bolen makes learning fun. Her classes are a blast to take and she makes them so much fun. She is a wonderful person to talk with and is very helpful. If you are looking for some fun electives take her classes.

Comment:

Dr. Bolen makes learning and the classes fun. So far I have had her for four classed. She is a great person to get to know better. She is helpful and answers emails pretty quickly. If you want some fun easy general electives take her classes. I wish I had Dr. Bolen for all my classes.

There are not enough things I can say about what an awesome teacher Dr. Bolen is. I have had her so far for four classes. Her classes are fun and make learning fun. Even though I am not a PE major I still enjoyed her classes. She is a wonderful person as well. Fun to talk with. Whenever I am on campus I will go and see her.

Comment:

I was able to teach elementary and high school dances during my field experience this summer. If I hadn't had the class I would have been lost with the elementary students because we don't learn the things that work in too many other classes! Thank you Dr. Bolen. You are the best ever.

I had her for the first time in a blended class this semester. She is phenomenal - best professor I have had out of 4 colleges. She always called or emailed me back and took the time to be sure I understood the requirements. She is a role model for physical educators. I can only hope to be half as good as she is. One in a million! Thanks Dr. Bolen!

She had to step in and teach the class and all we had heard about it was negative from previous semesters. We cheered when we saw her coming into our classroom. Even though she gives hard tests, she does such a great job teaching that we do well and remember what she teaches us. She models what we should do in the schools. She is the BEST!

She knows what is really going on in the schools and teaches practical and invaluable information. She shows she cares, she takes time to help, and she does not show favortism like others do. She actually models the behavior we should demonstrate when we are teachers. I can only hope to be a tenth of the teacher and advisor she is to all of us.
