He wants you to learn the material as much as possible and you can tell how passionate he is about his job. Mainly need to work on your Wileyplus homework and keep track of it. As well as write down each example he gives you.

Greenwood is a great professor! He is really funny and does demonstrations in class. He answers emails SO quickly, which is great when you're doing homework. He will help you with anything and has 2 test reviews for every test. He also does homework reviews outside of class. He also has office hours every day, which is awesome.

His class is very boring. He gives monotone lectures that will put you to sleep. Most people don't show up to class and still do fine on the test. The class isn't very difficult but try to take a different professor.

Lectures randomly on one thing, homework covers something, else and then test are 90% conceptual. Will keep you the entire length of time just rambling on, to get his time in. Test are graded on a curve, very easy to pass the class. Homework is 40% of the grade. Very lenient graded scale (75 is still a B). Expect to board if you go to class!

Poor teaching style. Stands in front of the board while writing then erases everything as soon as he's done. Never stops talking, but barely anything he says is useful or makes sense. Makes many mistakes while teaching.

Very easy grading scale. He offers a lot of bonus points. On the other hand, I went to class just to take the bonus quizes. I could never understand what he said, or wrote on the board and I sat in the front of the class. the physics dept at tech has bad teachers in the entry level courses.

If you know kinematics, basic forces, etc. you'll be perfectly fine. If you are a bit confused, sit in the front because he doesn't talk loudly. He gives a lot of bonus and the tests/daily quizzes are mostly conceptual. So make sure you understand the material better than simply plugging in formulas.

O lord, where do i begin. Okay so, physics is supposed to be a very interesting class. Dr. Greenwood makes it everything but that. He writes so small on the board, and all he does is make slide-shows but they are copied directly from the book and he reads them to you in class. Class isnt too hard. You will never ever forget him or take him again.

I usually coulndn't understand what he was talking about in class. You should really read the chapter before class; I never did, but once I read the book later it all made sense. Warning: he likes to test you on the "obvious" stuff like the actual base units of common SI units and constants you use all the time but never think about.

Very helpful. He cares that you understand the mat'l and will spend a good amount of time helping you (he had study session days too). Sometimes he was monotone in class, but overall not a bad teacher.

Teaches you nothing in class. The only way to learn from him is to go to him personally. I don't know why the other ratings are so good. My class was around 80 ppl, and I don't know anyone that liked him.
