Comment:

For someone who is awful at math, I did pretty well in this class thanks to the way Professor Groccia has it laid out. His notes are really informative, everything is done through mystatlab, and if you're having trouble with something he always gets back to emails really quickly. I wouldn't say its an easy A but an A is definitely attainable.

Quite literally, the BEST professor at Valencia. He should probably leave he is so good. But I'm glad I had him for Calc, online no less. His lectures are amazing! He is very tech forward so I was a little uncomfortable with the video presentation and intro stuff he wanted us to do, I passed on some of it, but as for as Calc goes, he is King.

One of my favorite math professors. Groccia turns a boring subject into so much fun. Do your mymathlab homework and study for tests and you'll pass the class with an A. He's always ready to help you and his notebook is soooo helpful. Plus it's a lot cheaper than buying the textbook. Take him! You won't regret it.

Excellent teacher. Uses his own notebook with his own test reviews. Teaches very clearly and repeats things 3-4 times to make sure students understand. He made some of the very difficult concepts in Bus Calc seem simple & logical. He preps you thoroughly for tests. I am taking him again this semester for stats and have been very pleased. TAKE HIM!!

I have never had a class where the professor has created a notebook with notes and outlines, he is practically giving you an "A". You do have to study, complete mystatlab assignments, and bring your best effort. You have to be very lazy not to pass this class. He will train your mind to think in Statistics. He is sweet too.

The best teacher ever! I was super scared to take a statistics class (since I'm no good in math) but he's great at what he does. Got all A's on the test, and I actually enjoy going to his class! Definitely worth taking, don't miss out! (Plus he's a major cutie)

DON'T TAKE HIM... Just kidding, this professor is seriously one of the best in Valencia. He's funny, helpful, and sweet. His workbook is only $10 and no textbook is needed. 4 tests, an online quiz each chapter, and you can use notes on the final. I ended up with almost a perfect score! Loved his class!

Awesome guy, great professor. Very entertaining but still focused on the subject. I would recommend his to ANYBODY! One of the best professors at Valencia. Text book work is optional and test reviews are the best. Love this guy!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! You can use notes on each exam and open book on the final. The textbook was not needed because he has a workbook that explains everything. Attendance not required, but I recommend you attend class because if you miss a day you miss alot of info. This teacher ROCKS!!!

GREAT professor! He is funny and sort of geeky, in a good way. He is one of THE best prof I've had! Uses a 'workbook' which is GREAT and easy to understand. Tests are easy and final is open everything (old tests and workbook). Take him, if you can get into a class! You won't regret it!

Take him. you won't regret it! Helpful, clear, fun, great sense of humor, and plays awesome music. you can get xtra credit by attending his concerts, they are great!! I remember him when he taught at Neptune Middle School...He is GREAT!

Let me keep it short and simple, if you can't pass his class with an A or B then you shouldn't be in college. I am terrible when it comes to math and I passed with a high B. It would have been an A but I got lazy and didn't do 2 creative problems and became lazy on 2 of the quiz'. Absolutely AMAZING professor, hands down.
