Comment:

Weekly journals and discussions that arent too bad length-wise. She gives great feedback, and has several opportunities for extra credit. We only had one big project. You are required to have the book, but I never used it.

Comment:

Taking PSY 104 online was easy. There are only two big assignments which are a book report and cover letter/resume. There are weekly discussions and journal entries and thats it. I learned a lot from her class. I recommend having her if you want an easy A.

I really enjoyed PSY 104 with Amy. It was a good class and I got a good grade on everything; my book report, my resume. It was a very great experience for my first psychology class.

This was a very simple class. As long as you actually logged in, read the discussion board, and did your homework on time you would receive an A. I probably spent about an hour average per WEEK for this class and passed with an A. She does take a while to grade, and isn't always available, but the textbook and syllabus were thorough enough.

Comment:

She gives alot of work but they were fun! If you are up to a challenge, she's the person. I got C on her online clas because I didn't really study for the test. Her test were easy if you read the book and take notes of your reading. Easy class but alot of writing! She's very helpful and understanding.

Comment:

Instructor was always behind grading; she mentioned it could take up to 2 weeks to grade assignments but it was a month+. Also she "kept track" of time spent online (somehow)and graded down on discussions for undisclosed reasons. I would get feedback like "Awesome discussion! Great work!" and somehow still be docked points with no reason given.

Instructor was always behind in grading things, usually about a month behind. NEVER responds to emails. Links for videos or other online homework went to nothing. If you need to take PSY 104 find a different teacher!!!

Never responded to emails. Constantly got docked points for not getting online enough yet I was on there long enough to complete my work. I don't understand that at all. Overall she sucked!

Does not respond to emails on a regular basis. First incident was when she failed to see our class emails or submitted assignments. A MONTH AND A HALF went by w/out any activity from her. Her apology was that the new system does not alert when anything is submitted. This is true, but how can you forget about an entire class for 1.5 months!?

This instructor was fair and responsive. She has never taught psy101 or psy202 so at least two students who posted do not even know what subjects they were studying. Basically, log into the online class, follow the syllabus, read and respond and you'll do just fine in this class.

I had this instructor for an online class, and her links were constantly broken, verbal lectures spoken too fast & unclear, written lectures always messed up. When an e-mail question was sent, would take weeks to get back if even at all, and would take many weeks w/o being online, making students wait for grades & questions to be answered in turn.
