Comment:

Some people in class were very rude and inconsiderate to her because they can be pretty closed minded and she challenges us to think. I loved her and the class, a lot of fun, very interesting! I learned a lot about myself, others and Psychology.

Easy A if one can manage to put up w/ her "personal stuff". Ive had her twice, mostly arguing about something, if theres nothing she will create something thats for sure...she reminds me of the old saying...."those that cant... teach" 18 weeks of soooo un-professional antics, sure wasnt psycholgy, it seemed to be HER therapy. Got my A tho.

Comment:

Ms. McCoy is a good teacher; she makes learning fun; makes general psychology applicable to every day life. I loved the class!! She is honest, straightforward and very intelligent. This class is never boring. I recommend it if you really want to learn about yourself and others. Students sometimes dislike her style but I found it refreshing.

She seemed to be a knowledgeable instructor. We did not use the book much. We had several assignments which we were required to keep in a notebook and she reviewed them. Most of our grade came from this. We had discussions in class and some of our grade came from our partication. I enjoyed the class, but it was a large one and I prefer smaller ones

i really like andell, yes she is in your face, & for many of us that is a good thing. for a lot who have left the class i think that they will soon find things they learned will be helpful when you are least expecting it. this is a good class especially if you want to become more aware about who YOU are. Andell is the most wonderful teacher that I have had lately.I don't care what anybody else says or thinks, she is doing her job.Andell works hard to help her students academically but within reason.I don't think it is fair to demean her teaching habits or who she is, just because some students don't give a d-mn!students receive credit they deserve.

Teacher of the year. Words of Wisdom and a great positive Role Model for everyone.She is a Teacher that treats all students equal and devoted to her job. We need more teachers that teach with the respect and the dignity that she does. We love Andell!

Loved her class. The Best instructer Stanly needs more like her. Wish she teach more classes like sociology and some counseling I have learned more from her out of some other classes. Those who didnt just did not care and tried there is not reason for failing her class.

The first thing that people do when they step into her class do is to judge her. Why? She is a normal human being and makes the same mistakes just like we all would. So why bother to judge? I ENJOYED BEING IN MS. MCCOY'S CLASS. I FOUND HER TO BE A WELL INFORMED TEACHER, WHO WAS WILLING TO MAKE SURE THAT I LEARNED. SHE HAS COMPASSION FOR STUDENTS AND A PASSION FOR TEACHING. OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM SHE WAS APPROACHABLE AND FRIENDLY. I WOULD TAKE ANOTHER CLASS FROM HER.
