If you are a slacker, I suggest you avoid taking this class. Professor Misantone is a wonderful professor, and I'm so glad I got to take two classes with her. If you pay attention, read, and participate you will NOT fail. She is AMAZING!!

Great teacher, takes notice in students who put in effort, doesn't tolerate nonsense, workload may seem like a lot in the beginning, but if you stick around it becomes smoother.

Professor Misantone was the most AMAZING English teacher I ever had. I love how she taught, and she didn't over teach anything but if we had questions she was there to answer.

She is a good teacher. You should follow the syllabus and you'll be fine. YOU MUST SHOW UP TO HER CLASS. Her papers/homework should be done in MLA. She does not take late work and often doesn't respond to emails fast. She gets to the point in lectures and lets you out early. You will read a lot of stories but they can be interesting.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MS. MISANTONE. She will NOT let you fail. If you read the novel assigned and the stories assigned you'll pass with flying colors. You have quizzes, in class essays, and a term paper. She does give in class assignments that can be used extra credit. Speak up in class, she wants to hear your opinion. Loved that class!

Amazing teacher, she explains the material very well. Reading is needed to understand what she is talking about. She never gave me very much feedback. Homework would assigned and sometimes she would forget about what it was or would want to change it. Once you figure out how she wants your work done, you will be golden.

I took Misantone for ENC 1101 and 1102. She offers many attempts for feedback and extra help and she gives random extra credit. If you do the readings the tests are easy. If you need help, ASK.

She's a very hard grader especially on essays! Puts students on blast, which is not cool. For me she wasn't a compatible teacher for my learning style. I don't like it when she put others down because of a simple mistake, I understand it's English and all but still, she should be more patient with her students.

I took this course in the summer so it was express. BEING LATE IS NOT AN OPTION. She does offer extra credit and it helps ALOT. Very picky with paper structure and content but it's English. Do your readings, show up, turn your work in on time and ASK FOR HELP if you need it and you should be fine.

Ms. Misantone can be nice, her class basically goes off the syllabus. You read a few short stories and take an easy quiz. If you read you will pass her quizzes no problem. She makes you write 2 essays and a research paper. Final is a power point. Overall if you keep up and do your volunteer hours its an easy A. DONT BE LATE!

easy class. teacher starts to ramble in lectures and mixes up things. she ended up rearranging the whole schedule. storys are confusing but sparknotes helps &she will go over some. makes you do group assignments, which are easy grades. tests are extremely easy. essays are hard. because she doesnt go over them.

She was definitely not my favorite teacher. She is a tough grader. If you have a question she basically disregards you and makes you feel stupid. Her tests are open ended. I barely passed her class with a B. She is also very hard to understand and follow. She will assign something and not follow up with it. I would not take her ever again.

I had this professor for 11th grade English in 90' - 91'. It was my favorite year of English. When I discovered she was teaching at Indian River Community College (named at the time) I signed up for a course she was teaching. She can be tough, but she is excellent at what she does and great at feedback on writings. Still remember her to this day.

Anita is a great teacher! You wont regret taking this class. Only thing I did not like was her grading. I seemed to get all 70% on my essays and on the final one it was an 80 :/ . Besides this she is really good at what she does and very compatible with the students

I hate her class with a burning passion. She is the worst teacher i've ever had in my life. Not specific AT ALL with assignments. Has no sympathy for students. It's impossible to get above a 79% on an essay. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER TAKES THIS HORRIBLE CLASS. I graduated with a 4.2 and I am passing her class with a C- so that should tell you something.

Very unhelpful, rude, and confusing. Impossible to pass her class. My lowest grade is a 94 not counting this poor excuse of a "professor" because her class impossible to pass. i am trilingual and have been published TWICE before I was sixteen and cannot get above a 70 on her essays? No sir, and her corrections make no sense. None at all.
