Dr. I is nice, yeah, sweet, okay, but extremely unhelpful when learning material in his class. I had to teach myself every single chapter off of YouTube this year, and the guys on there gave better tutorials and explanations. He does, however, give extra credit (impossible to complete without chegg), and he definitely inflates your final grade.

He has good intentions & is passionate about what he does but he is way too confusing. He goes over the material as if you've learned it before--not like you're learning it for the first time. He'll give examples in class and expect you to know how to figure them out without explaining it and then gives you the answers without working through it.

Dr. I is a very nice and intelligent guy, but his teaching style and expectations make the class more difficult then the other profs. You MUST attend each lecture and actively take notes or you'll 100% struggle. There are a ton of quizzes and its common to fail them. He does give extra credit but it's usually very challenging.

Great professor. Teaches hard subjects (mainly physics and gen chem) but is honestly one of the most caring teachers in the school and he wants everyone to get good grades and will inflate them a half letter. Nicest Guy

Dr. I is so helpful and is always trying to help every student who needs help. He cares about your grade and is very good at explaining the material. The class has SI on top of the help he provides. He's pretty funny too.

Definitely the most helpful professor I have ever had. Goes out of his way to make you understand the material, especially if you let him know you are having trouble. Will give study help based on knowledge of past students struggles in specific areas. Goes over hw q's in detail if you had trouble with one. Funny, adorable old man.. Take this class

He is such a sweet guy. He truly cares about you and your grade. Basically a very adorable old man but his tests are not as easy and you have to pay attention but he is willing to go over stuff you don't understand until you are comfortable with it. He is also willing to listen. loved him!

Dr. I is without a doubt one of the best professors I have had at Monmouth! Even if you are not into Chemistry, the class is still enjoyable. He makes the material interesting and makes sure to give you all the information you need to learn and understand. He is a funny guy and will really go out of his way to help if necessary! Take him! :)

Dr. I is the best! He's challenging but has a million ways to help (clear powerpoints, supplemental powerpoints, outlines, etc.) and makes time for help sessions. He really knows his stuff and tries to make class as interesting as possible. You'll never get out early and the homework can be overwhelming but it's worth it. Recommended!

Great professor. I hated chemistry in high school and this class made it fun. Pay attention to the notes and class discussions. Textbook rarely used but the powerpoints were summaries of the chapters. For the latter half of the classes, each group taught the class. Pretty cool. I learned a lot! Easy going professor, just go to class on time always!

by far the best chemistry teacher at monmouth. goes out of his way to help you understand the material. chemisty is a very tough subject but he uses past experience to teach. hes os cute and tells jokes. you can tell he loves being there. i would have taken him for CE112 but an 8:30 is not for me.

Comment:

Very good professor. He keeps records of his previous classes to see what students need more work on and uses that to improve his lectures. Very fair, keeps you interested, likes to add some humor. The grading system is made to help you pass and do well. I had him last semester and he's the only professor I'll wake up at 8AM for this semester.
