Sister Brigid, by far, is THE wisest, most intelligent, articulate, brilliant, profoundly educated person I have ever known, and probably will ever know. The grade is important to everyone when it comes down to the wire, but she had SO much more than an A to offer the dedicated student, they just had to want it. I wish she would come back!!

Although soft-spoken, Sister Brigid certainly gets her point across in class. Her creative writing class is so much fun and extremely interactive. You write a paper a week, but it's hardly even considered work - she makes everything interesting!

She is very soft spoken but you want to pay attention because she makes fun of herself all the time! She is very straight about what she wants. She wants you to pay attention and doesn't really ask you to do much at home. She actually gives you the essay questions that will be on all the test not cumulative amazing lady!

I love, love, LOVED this woman! I took four classes with her, and she was my advisor for my Scholar's Program final project. A most remarkable, funny, intelligent woman, and I miss her terribly :)

It is so upsetting to see these comments about such a wonderful professor. It I pay a few thousand for a class I am NOT going to fall asleep in it. I love Sister, she is a blessing to any english major or not-- she is NOT hard. simply ASK her a question and she answers it, seems like we have some bitter students here. be honest- she ISNT MEAN!

Listen. If you are an english major- Sister Brigid is where its at. She is brilliant, i have taken her three times. She isnt mean, she isnt unfair by anymeans. This is college?!? How exciting will shakespeare possibly be? I think that she is a gift at Caldwell and I've learned a ton from her. She is awesome and understanding. bottom line.brilliant!

she hates love and bashes it to the fullest in this class...she ridicules every little tiny mistake you make and doesnt give you grades back until the last week of the semester when two of your papers' grades are posted on blackboard. shes quite bitter and talks about nothingness. tests are easy, she grades fairly, but shes mean so watch yorself
