Professor Critchlow is an incredible resource. She is highly intelligent but won't make you feel stupid for asking questions. Be prepared to take TONS of notes - but that's all you need. She wrote the textbook herself! She is super approachable in office hours and over email. She has great taste in music too. Being late to class pisses her off.

Critchlow is an awesome professor. All you have to do is take notes in her class and you'll have everything you need for the tests. She is very approachable if you have questions and is very available. She likes when people show an interest in the subject

Professor Critchlow was a great teacher. I didn't do wonderfully in the class, but that was my fault, not hers. her assignments were helpful, and her quizzes, tests, and labs were fair. She was very nice and approachable- I really enjoyed her.

She is really caught up with her opinions as far as using graphing calculators and notations. I found her to be somewhat rude and very very nerdy. I came into this class liking math alot and ended up never wanting to take another math class again.

Nice lady, assigns problems everynight to make sure you learn the material (what a concept!)but doesn't usually collect, random quizes on the hw to make sure you are doing the hw, always helpful & available during office hours!

Critchlow teaches very well. However, her tests ask questions in a completely different format than the examples she gives in class. Plus, she doesn't seem to have time for students that don't understand. I have felt rushed out of her office before when I wasn't done asking for help. :-(.
