Excellent teacher. Probably the best at CSUB and in the philosophy department. Do the readings, ask for help, and stay on task, and you'll be fine. He is always willing to help, and you'll learn alot from him. Especially since he likes to ask alot of question and have class discussions.

Great professor. He is clear, intelligent, and dedicated to his work. He makes you think critically unlike professors who simply have you take notes.

He is a amazing individual. When I first started the class I did not want to be in it and I thought it would be boring. Odly enough, I fell in love with this class. He is a wonderful teacher and always there when you need help. He responds quickly to emails. The class has readings which must be done to pass the class. TAKE HIM you won't be sorry

Other Professors could learn a lot from Dr. Meyers. He treats his students like adults and makes his expectations very clear. Attendance is crucial and you must keep up with your readings. Firm but very fair and knows his material very well. Overall an extraordinary educator!

Professor lives up to the standards of professional ethics that he teaches. Excellent class: Dr. Meyers is involved and caring, never talks down to the students, is willing to amuse and to be amused. Open and frank discussions. If you do the reading, put enough effort into the class, you will reap the rewards.

Dr. Meyers is awesome! Daily quizzes on assigned reading material force you to read, but that's good! That way you don't get behind, plus the quizzes are worth 25% of the grade. AND the final is based 100% off the quizzes! He's a tough grader on the papers which is also good. I definitely recommend this class for a Theme 2! :)

Great professor. Holds you to a high standard, which is kind of refreshing after some of the GE classes at this school. Great at stimulating and guiding classroom discussion. Funny and laid back. He doesn't seem to teach too often, so if you get the opportunity to take one of his courses, I'd really recommend going for it.

Great prof, very interesting and did not assert own opinion - rather, he used interesting teaching methods by playing the devil's advocate and helped students to reach their own conclusions. Will make closed minded people uncomfortable, and that's a good thing!

This class was terrible. All he did was make the students feel stupid when they asked questions, and talked about his own opinion rather than anything of importance. This was the worst class i've ever taken and he was by far the worst professor I have ever had. Do not take this man's class-he's awful!

He is a very good professor. Make sure you look clearly over your work before turning it in. He is laid back. He likes to rib you, so rib him back. I did. He has a set schedule, and you better go by it, but he is in his office a lot. Overall, Great!

I thought it was a great class. The class touched on a lot of controversial topics so the discussions were very lively. It was a lot of fun. Dr. Meyers did a great job at presenting the subject matter objectively and allowing students to draw their own conclusions. A+
