Madame Armstrong is a very good professor. She is fun and her lectures are very interactive. She is 100% French so she knows what she is talking about. Drops lowest test grade. I loved the woman, she is very funny once you get to know her.

Comment:

I loved her class. Even when I was just taking it for the GE, it made me want to continue studying french. She is so much fun and her classes are prepared very well. Always tried to make learning fun. She was a little bit of a tough grader but definitely would recommend this class for a friend!

Comment:

Learning a new language requires a lot of practice, and Dr. Armstrong is excellent because she knows that. She assigns homework everyday that definitely helps you practice, so it is essential to do it. In class she has you practice with your classmates, and helps with pronunciation. She is hilarious, so class is never boring.

She is a very good teacher, usually keeps the class entertaining instead of just lecturing. Kind of a hard teacher, but I really feel like I learned a lot. Kind of obviously has favorites... but if you do your work she will like you!

She's wonderful! The class is hard, but she's funny and engaging. I've really learned a lot from her. She likes to say, "I know, I'm mean," but she's not. She really listens to her students.

This class is hard! She is an extremely insightful professor, however this particular class belongs in the 300 level. She is fun, personable, and extremely approachable, I wouldn't hesitate to take a difference class from her. Flexible within reason when it comes to due dates, absences, and grading. Studying and homework are a must!

There was a lot of work in this class but my pronunciation and understanding of French improved. She is very helpful in and outside of class and tries to make it and interesting and dynamic class. People's grades tend to drop slightly at the end of the semester because she takes awhile to grade things, but its still possible to get an A .

Um, Yeah, so her class gives the impression of being very easy. You get As on everything and think you have done well on tests, but then you a B on the report card. I really don't understand how she grades. Very nice, but frustrating and inconsistent.
