Her journalism class has been one of my best decisions. Not knowin' what to expect, she truly sparked my interest in the field of journalism. She is understanding, honest, and passionate about her work as well as her class, which is extremely informative. It opens not only your books, but your eyes to what is occurring in the world 10/10 Recommend!

Comment:

If you're interested in journalism, I would recommend this class. I wouldn't recommend it to someone just looking to fill a credit. There is a lot of writing and studying different journalists in history. She is also a journalist, so she LOVES to show you her work, and use it as examples. You'll need the textbooks for this class, just buy them.

She's a good professor. You learn a lot in her class. She lets you revise assignments to get a higher grade. She also gives a lot of homework sometimes but works out the deadlines with students. She offered one extra credit this semester. Her final and midterm are super easy and are from the chapter homeworks from the textbook.

Comment:

Professor Regan is a great professor!! She gives great feedback on your papers!! If you get below an A on a paper, she lets you fix it and re hand it in so you can get an A!! She is a journalist at the SIA so she knows what she is talking about!! I would recommend taking it!!

Her intro class was so much fun, and it was an easy A. I really liked her class and she made it very interesting. Definitely likes to talk about the Wagnerian, and the SIA, but that's her life,and it's what she does.

Prof. Regan is awesome! she's so nice and is always willing to assist her students! She's a passionate journalist! whether you plan on entering the journalism field or not, take a class with her! Not to mention she keeps her classes interesting. Her work load is pretty light & she is an extremely fair grader! Take her classes! You won't regret it!!

So in love with herself, so uncaring about anyone, or anything other than journalism. There is nothing else in the world, except for the Staten Island Advance. Would NOT recommend her or the journalism program for anyone. Probably one of the worst professors I've ever had.

she's all right when you first get her as a prof. but when you get into doing the school paper or her internship, she acts like that's all there is to life. she does not like challenges to her power, and if she doesnt like you, she will make your life a living hell. has taught me more than anyone else how to deal with crazy on-the-edge people. if you cant take a demanding adviser, she is not for you. by the way, she always immediately forgets all your accomplishments and never forgets your mistakes.

She drove me crazy while I was at Wagner and an SIA Intern, but now I realize that it was all worth it. You can learn so much from her if you are willing to work with her!

She is not a bad teacher but she does expect much of her students. She does not give that much work, she is very helpful and she allows alot of time to complete the assignments. The only thing I don't like about this teacher is that she has her favorites.

She is the associate managing editor of the Staten Island Advance, so she really knows the subject that she's teaching. Willing to help any student that needs it, but can often stress perfection.
