Comment:

I took Professor Forsyths course in 2012. I still remember her teaching style. She is an extremely nice lady and goes above and beyond helping students understand the material. If I had to take this course again, I would most definitely take it with her! Tough class but she makes it fly by! You will not regret it with her teaching it!!!

She is a very nice lady but she is a little unorganized so be patient with her. As long as you work the problems in the back of the book you will be fine. Only a midterm and final & she does tutor in the ASC. I took her class in summer & if you failed the midterm she made you drop the class, so study hard.

She is a smart woman. She is a great teacher. Even though she doesn't like 50 first dates shes cool. I got a B. theres only midterm and final. Do what ever extra credit she gives you. She is getting older so be patient with her and shell be patient with you. Take her class.

Awesome professor. She breaks stats down so it is simple, if you get lost she will help you after class at the ASC. I love stats now, i recommend her!!!

Comment:

She is a sweet lady and knows her stats. However, she was unorganized. She was late almost every day. No homework, or quizzes, just a midterm and a final. We hardly ever finished a full problem during class. She sometimes became frustrated with students working problems "slow" of course we are slow! We don't have 20+ years of experience in stats.

She is very unorganized in her lectures, paperwork, her words and thought process. She IS a very sweet lady and her stories are amazing. However, she is so unclear in her teaching methods. Only a midterm and final. She had to change the scoring just so half the class didn't fail. She has to consider herself as the problem instead of the students.

i was able to take her for psych 101 some time ago and i decided to take the stats class with her since. she's really difficult to understand for that class and she divided the class into two exams for the whole semester which makes it really difficult to pass. she's a good psych teacher but when it comes to stats i would go with someone else.

She is unorganized. She doesn't know which chapter she previously taught. She also confuses her own opinions and many of the scientific facts, then tells the class some inaccurate information. Drop, if you believe in science, facts and figures.

took class in summer.dont miss a day or u will be behind!at 1st she came off strong but once u are taking her class she is stubborn,but a very thoughtful,funny lady.do the reviews @ end of each ch. they REALLY help! I got an A.just stay focused n dont procrastinate on your work.no quizzes, 1 midterm,1 final.no hw assign.but gives surprise credit

No blackboard. She was a student of one of the greatest minds of psychology. So she knows what she's talking about. Very passionate about Psychology and so long as you put effort you will get an A. She does an excellent job of breaking statistics down for people who need this class for their majors and are not math lovers. It's still a lot of memorization and working of tables and formulas. The couple of math-nerds in the class were bored.

SHE is SO Amazing! I think she is the best statistics teacher ever! I always sat in front of the class=) I recommend not making plans when you are taking this class! The class is a challenge,but she makes you learn it. I was scared to take this class, but now I love it! No need to be scared of this class! start memorizing correlation formula! =)

I took her Psych Stats 270 Summer course, 5 weeks. It was fast but if you just do the odd problems in each chapter review, it helps because you learn as you go. Prof is also available for tutoring too. We had a midterm and a final. She taught so clearly, so listen to her and write down whatever she repeats twice. She is GOOD!!

She is the one of the sweetest professors at SWC. Her tests are simple, explains everything and covers everything that will be on the exam. Took the summer course (5 wks) and it was a lot of material, but I got an A. Overall, great professor. TAKE HER!
