Professor Kitto is very knowledgable in math. Grade consists of 25 quizzes and 4 tests. Cant use a calculator on the test. No graded homework. The quiz was only 5 questions so if you get one wrong there goes your grade. I dropped his class because there wasnt enough work to balance my grade and im calculator dependent so i wouldve failed most test

Cheg delivers more information via online platform than this dude. Condenses a week's worth of material into fifteen or twenty minute videos with very little explanations. Clearly knowledgeable if you can get him to answer your questions. Might be better in a classroom. If you're not solid on calc 1 be prepared to struggle.

Taking Calculus 2 online was by no means easy but Professor Kitto was very helpful. If you learn to show your work in a clear and concise manner you can do well. Your work alone can change your grades by a whole letter or 2 on tests which are a major chunk of your grade. If you have to take this class online I'd say Kitto is the way to go.

During the first days of class Dr. Kitto had an appearance of a grumpy old man. During the last days of class Dr. Kitto still had the appearance of a grumpy old man- but with a heart of gold. He is truly an amazing Professor (funny too). I learned more from him (in a semester) than from all my years of math combined.

Great Professor, he teaches as much as he can in a timely manner. There is a quiz due nearly everyday. You may have to research beyond the book and lectures. Only 3 tests and 24 quizzes, so be prepared. Gives very little feedback on graded work. You will learn well and even pass if you show up, keep a good attitude and pay attention.

Took this class online. Finish the hw and quiz every week before the due date. You can do it as many times as you want until then. Quizzes are not that bad. No practice test for exam, he will tell some of the question types to study but not all. Every exam includes all material studied so far, so don't forget formulas.

Professor Cy Kitto made himself available and used an innovative way to explain the subject. He is just great. The online text was terrible. The videos sound like they are in a cave, hard to hear, hard to see, sometimes completely useless. Avoid using this book, it is made to fail. If wasn't for Pr. Kitto, I would have failed this class.

Professor Kitto has terrific enthusiasm for mathematics and gives detailed, concise lectures over the material. He is always eager to help students succeed and frequently dropped by the math lab. This was a challenging course that I was originally advised not to take having no prior trig, but a highly rewarding experience. 1st math class I'll miss!

Kitto is hands down the best teacher I have ever had. He explains abstract calculus concepts so that you understand WHY instead of just hammering on your calculator to get an answer. Go to his office and the math lab, DONT SKIP, DO THE STUDY GUIDES and make a good cheat sheet. If you don't do the study guides you will fail the test.

I feel like this is what a college math class should be like. He's an excellent teacher, but you will have to work. If you do work then it will show. He gives study guides and take home quizes that he expects everyone to work together on. His notes are clear, and tells you what are important concepts for his class and future classes.

Professor Kitto is a brilliant dude and I definitely appreciate his teaching style, even if it is sometimes difficult to really follow along with every lecture. This was the first college class that truly smacked me down and had me actually questioning my life. Expect hard work. No calculators for tests but formula sheet frontback is allowed.

He's a great teacher when it comes to showing you where a formula comes from. He tends to breeze past important details, though. You will go to lecture and think you've got it all figured out, but he will assign extremely difficult quizzes. The tests aren't so bad though, but you better study! All tests are cumulative!

He was the best professor I have ever had. He was so helpful. His tests are not easy for those who don't study. If you do his study guides and quizzes, you will get an A. Visit the math lab and tutors will be glad to help you as well

If Math is your worst subject, DO NOT TAKE HIM. He is not a bad professor but expects his students to be smart. He does not allow calculators on his test but gives study guides and lets you use a formula sheet, just remember to study A LOT, if you're bad at math. I struggled to pass his class but he was also very helpful to reschedule a test.

Very good professor, you definitely need to pay attention. Classes aren't mandatory, but it's easy to fall behind if you miss one. He's very good about rescheduling tests if you miss one. His study guides were always harder than the tests, so if you study those you'll but fine.

Mr. Kitto is very passionate math professor. He understands these courses are a requirement and that there are people (like me) with Math "disability". Quizzes you take home, he will give you a study guide prior to each test, and these are very truth to the test. He's very patient and helpfull. The best Math professor ever!
