love danell! what a trooper! 45plus that should have never been that many. I spoke with my parents and we agreed that based on my experience in this and other classes,I'm transferring. The students at emerson lack class, hunger for knowledge, morals, class, I'm not paying $$$ for a seat next to these so called, creatives.

Mama T was great! Her class is always interactive, there is always something to learn especially from the real world where she has the experience and we don't. I love going to her classes, its always interesting! She is very understanding and very clear on what students think, which is a plus!!! Its too bad that summer classes are so short!

I had "Mama T" for a 4 hr. summer class twice a week. She's very animated and knows a LOT about PR. The class was held "meeting-style" and although Danell certainly enjoys talking, everyone got to contribute their ideas. She has a tendency to be frank, but is very understanding and makes herself available. I'd definitely reccommend taking her class

I didn't think I would like the class because I had to take it. By the end of the semester I could not wait to go. Danell is a one woman show, such energy, and positive attitude about everything. This is why I looked forward to going to this class. I was dealing working through a private matter and she really cared and called when others did not

I have learned so much from this class. At the beginning of the semester it is hard to jump into the speeches, but Danell makes the class fun and very entertaining. I highly recommend this class for anyone who wants some spice added to OP100.

Okay, here's the thing: no one wants to say this because she's a nice lady; but she won't give you feedback, she won't even grade certain assignments, and she will give ARBITRARY grades. She acts like her class is a real-life dead poets society but all you will learn from "Mama T" is how to watch Youtube videos. Pathetic.

Mama T seemed cool and all the whole semester. She's funny, super nice, easy to take advantage of (not in that way), and tells great stories. But then came grade giving time, when she realized she taught us nothing and didn't even make us do the work we were supposed to do, and decided to give out B+'s to reflect her bad teaching job.

She is the sweetest lady and a wonderful teacher who seamlessly integrates your education into a very enjoyable classroom setting. Hers is the only speech class I haven't heard people complain about. Try to get her if you can!!

She's an Emerson Grad 88,92 and really "connects" with us. She runs a STUDENT CENTERED class. She looks about 30 ? and has been teaching at Emerson since 95. Go figure???
