Keep your notes organized and have a textbook since you can use them during tests. Didn't really understand him during lecture, but the textbook is super detailed and helps a lot.

Ozer is a good professor and knows what he is talking about. Really needed to pay attention in his class in order to pass if you have never taken statistics. But it is great because he teaches the problems step by step and goes over before exams.

Ozer is a great guy, I just couldn't really read his writing. Not sure if that's the smart board's fault or not. I kind of felt more confused when I went to lecture, I understood some parts though. The book will be your best friend unless Ozer gives you formulas, then Ozer is your best friend.I felt the TA discussions were helpful. STUDY UP KIDDOS!

one of the more rude Professors on campus. I struggled and went to his office hours only to receive an attitude from him. The TA's didn't help for that particular quarter. And he spent an entire lecture going over material that was never going to be on the final...

overall, i hate math so it was difficult for me but he made it real easy to follow along. everything is open notes so keep your notes nice and organized, separate them by the different tests that they are and so on. enjoyed the class got a B. make sure you understand the material. not all that hard if you try. good prof.

Professor seemed like he knew what he was talking about. But did not put it in the most simplest form for everyone to understand. Class was not mandatory and going to lecture wasn't helpful. I had to ask my TA to clarify almost everything the professor went over. The professor does not grade on a curve. What you see on your test is what you get

Ozzy presents his material in the simplest way possible. He gives you formulas and teaches you how to use them. The exams are open notes & book, but you still have to understand the problems and why you're using the formulas. I recommend doing the hw and following the examples he gives during lecture.

Only went to the lectures for three weeks throughout the whole quater, but aced it with a great TA! Study the textbook and go to the TA's office hour before exam!!!! Lectures are not mandatory and not helpful at all cuz I never understood what he's talking about anyways.

He's very interesting to listen to, but u REALLY need to understand what he's talking about to understand a lot of his lecture. He speaks as if everyone understands, which isn't always the case, but if u raise your hand in class and ask for clarification, he will do it. He's an overall nice guy.

Great lecturer! Just read and practice the examples in the book and you'll get at least a B or an A. He curves the exam grade based on a 4.0 scales. Easy class! Highly recommended!!!

Gives clear lectures. Only problem is that he often uses words that I've never even heard of. Having a good T.A. is what helped me not get lost. He's very serious and not the most approachable professor. The course is not very easy, it takes alot of practice.

He's not a very good lecturer, but if you do and understand the homework than you should do fine on the tests... the problems are almost exactly like the homework and the class examples

Can you say million dollar word usage? I mean, I know he seems to know the information, but geez, present it to people in english. Had to retake it with another professor & aced it. What's up with that?

Willing enough to help during offic hours, but thinks in formulae, so when he wants to explain something, he writes a formula on the board and expects everyone to say Ah, I see it now. He will respond well to questions during lecture.
