This guy put the bore in boredom. He knew his stuff and could answer you question but he was horrible at teaching. He taught it as if you were a o-chem guru and wrote notes a mile a minute without ever slowly breaking down the steps and putting them in layman's terms for you to understand.

Slow class, but fairly graded and pretty well-taught. He never abbreviates. Fun to watch his brow furrow when ditzy people in the back ask the same question over and over. "If you STILL don't know what a tosylate is, refer BACK TO YOUR NOTES."

This guy is awful! I keep hearing good things about him, but I dont get anything from his classes. He doesnt explain concepts broadly; he spends all lecture on one specific example rather than many different ones. Totally boring as well, no enthusiasm.

I don't care what others say. Absolutely the best prof ever! He's very helpful in office hours and he writes the best lecture notes ever. If you pay attention to him, he'll make the subject so much more interesting. He's the reason why I'm in science now.
