Fun class! He gives many quizzes but only the top 5highest scores affect your grade which is great! Besides that, he only gives 3tests which are a big grade breaker but no worries because if you do better on the final he replaces the grades that you did lower on with the final. He assignes a critical book review that was much easier then expected.

Professor Liebert is a great professor! He is SO passionate about psychology. There is a lot of reading, but it's interesting stuff. When you write essays/discussion posts be sure to explain what you have learned and include terms. He likes to know that you're leaning the material and understanding it. If you do that, you're going to ACE this class

I absolutely loved this professor. The class was difficult but if your manage your time well you will be fine. I learned so much from this class. Would definitely recommend.

overall enjoyable class if you are into psyc. you have four 65 questions exams including the final lowest grade drops all from his book. 3 online quizzes. one critical book review due to the end of the semester. if you put an average amount of studying into this course this should be an easy A or at least B. enjoyable lecture.

Professor Liebert gives wonderful lectures and I wish they were longer. I was never bored and he does not play games with exams. He is honest about them and he would never give material that he didn't go over in class. He is a brilliant and kind Professor.

Comment:

Not a fan. He often spends a majority of class repeating what he said earlier in the week. All you really learn about is Freud rather than actual disorders and behaviors. Also gets politically off topic and makes you think "did he really just say that?" If you're a fan of the me too movement, don't take him. Unlimited attempts on exams though.

Dr Liebert was absolutely awesome! I took his Dynamic class over Winter break. It was a fast paced class and a lot of work, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. He provides excellent feedback. I adored him, I believe I would have enjoyed his classroom setting if I had the time and didnt live so far away. Take his class, you wont regret it!

Liebert is great! He is very compassionate towards students and is dedicated to his job. He gives extra credit and tests are relatively easy. The textbook is provided online and is free! He's also hilarious. 100% would recommend.

Dr. Liebert is great, hes so nice and does a really good job at teaching what he tests you on. He puts all his material in books he wrote so you can get it for free or like 5 dollars if you wanna support the class. This is nice because if you miss a lecture it's okay cause everything he covered is in the book. He also does mini review before tests.

He makes class super fun and not boring!, his lectures are heavy however everything that he covers in class is exactly on the test and so as long as you study, the tests are pretty easy. Always makes sure you understand the material and is open to answering questions any time during the lecture.

TAKE HIM!!! Not only does he provide the course material for you, he also feeds you on regular occasions. Doc L. knows his material and clearly loves teaching it to everyone in the room. The way that he presents the material makes it more of an informed discussion and not a lecture. Take notes and read the chpt before a test (3 in total) :)

Absolute gem of a teacher. After experiencing his classes (this is my second course taught by Dr. Liebert) I simply cannot imagine having a different instructor for my psych courses. Extremely passionate and knowledgeable, and will always give you an opportunity to try and raise your grade, if you utilize your time properly. HIGHLY recommend!!

such a sweet guy, truly cares and makes sure you are learning what you need to know, if you study for his exams and look at his textbook that he puts online for you, you will pass with flying colors. One paper we had to do and he gave clear warning in the beginning of the semester, not bad as well!

My favorite teacher by far at SPC. He is very clear on the grading criteria, very inspirational, and is always thinking about his students and putting them first. He is almost always available outside of class. Easy A if you show up and study. No need for a textbook he actually wrote his own for the class to use online.
