Comment:

I took this class online, which meant watching many 10-20 minute lectures to prepare for the tests. The class is easy, but definitely requires a lot of time to do well. Only exams taken at the testing center are the midterm and final, which consist of a few written response questions directly from the tests. Overall, an easy A.

Comment:

Professor Moberg is a good professor and all but he be trippin sometimes. Instead of saying what you did wrong or helping he says "more detail please" He grades tough and there's NO extra credit and little assignments, no shade but make sure you have plenty of "detail" to pass.

Comment:

Professor Moberg was one of the most accessible teachers I've at at IRSC. He answered emails with questions promptly and updated us regularly in the course messages & via email. His exams were straight from the videos & notes, and the midterm and final were questions directly from those exams. Do the work, and you will 100% pass. Highly recommend!

No textbook required. Google or rent the plays, and write about them. Most questions are open ended, asking what you thought about the plays rather than breaking them down. You have to identify themes and major characters. Fun, easy class. Would take again.

Professor Moberg is awesome. All his lectures are online and his study guides are exactly the test. I learned a lot in his class and I highly advise you take him if you need an elective covered.

Mr. Moberg is hands down the best professor I have taken. He covers every last thing you'd ever need to know in theatre that help you, yourself, grow as an actor and person, and your character development overall. He genuinely cared about each of his students individually. Scenes were not difficult and help you learn a lot. Take notes & apply them!

He's a great professor, just makes you work for your grade. I'm currently taking him now and he's been nothing but great. Study guides are exactly like tests so be sure to save them. Definitely recommend, easy A

Professor Moberg is a wonderful professor, very accessible and wants to help you improve on your acting technique. That being said, if you are partnered in a scene with someone who is less skilled than you, it can be difficult to pull detailed feedback from him after class. Other than that, this is a wonderful course!

just make sure you keep of with the assignments and you will be fine. midterm and final count for 20% of final grade so make you study all of the old tests. Prof Moberg posts video lectures and you can tell how passionate he is about theatre, he really knows his stuff. So as long as you put in the work and you don't slack off you will be fine.

Great Professor. I took him for THE1000 and again for THE2300 that were optional prerequisites. Theater is not my thing but I really enjoyed his class and it actually gave me a new perspective. I took both classes online and as long as you follow the material and listen to his lectures there should be no problems with his assignments!

Comment:

Mr. Moberg is a great professor, and he really cares about his students. Gives great feedback on assignments and gives EXACT study guides for the tests. Lectures are a bit time consuming but are very helpful for understanding concepts. Definitely recommend him if you're looking for a teacher who is willing to work with you for your grade.

I took intro to theater online, and i loved it. The recorded lectures where well done and I felt like I was actually in a class. He gave good feedback on my discussion questions and was very clear on what he wanted to see on the tests. He gave out study guides and got grades back to me in a reasonable amount of time.

Comment:

Moberg is a hilarious professor. The way he lectures is very captivating. I enjoy going to the class every week. You do have to write a ten minute play with a partner. This semester he got rid of the worksheets and used the short papers you write for a grade. Be prepared to speak in front of the class. Arrive on time for quizzes.

There are module tests which u can take at home & 1 midterm/ 1 final u take at the testing center. All module tests questions come from the study guide. Tests are written response. Loved his lectures & he responds so quickly through email. He doesn't really interact much with us through Blackboard as often as I expected.

Mr. Moberg is the type of teacher you would never forget from your college years. His hilarious, tells captivating stories, and dedicated into theater and its history. I was expecting a basic class, but no. You will be expected to act out at times or do silly projects. Do the worksheets and the 2 exams and you should be able to get that A+!

Great teacher and easy A! He actually cares about his students. There is a lot of homework and assignments but they are actually really easy. Don't wait to the last minute or you will hate the class. The only thing I didn't like is how long it took for a response from him.

He makes it incredibly clear what is expected for the tests, and the power points and worksheets give all the information you will ever need to know. He is also charming, and clearly goes through all the processes of theater if someone is having difficulty.
