Comment:

Good professor, his lectures are not on PowerPoint which was a downside, but if you listen and write quickly you can get all of the notes. He does in-depth reviews for exam so SHOW UP FOR ALL OF THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL SAVE YOUR GRADE. One drawing assignment based on cranial nerve drawings, and presentations. You cant go wrong taking his class

Great Professor, He did have us do a research paper which was basically your grade for the class other than a few pop quizzes, the paper was a little hard and long he expects a lot out of you on the paper. But Great professor overall.

Honestly speaking, I didn't learn much. It was definitely a self taught class, it's lecture heavy and he speaks really fast. It's hard to keep up let alone understand what he's talking about, he just sits and talks to us.. The exams also make up majority of your grade so be prepared to study study study. He's a sweet man, but his teaching style...

Comment:

Nice man, 2 article critiques, 1 drawing project (dont procrastinate on this), 2 tests. Everything is on quizlet. He gives a 10 point curve on both tests. First one is fill in the blank, second is MC. He does famous focus review, where he holds the test in his hand and goes 1 by 1 telling you the main idea of the question, record this. Is easy.

Dr. Ratusnik is a brilliant professor. His teaching style is a little old but it makes you think for yourself. You HAVE to go to class. Pay attention during his Famous Focus Reviews and study. His class is not hard to pass if you put in the work.

Awesome class! Dr. Ratusnik is very knowledgeable. He has a lot of stories from his experience so lectures can go a little off topic, but he always repeats the things that are most important. Before exams he does a "famous focused review" where he looks at the test and says exactly what each question is about. Write it down and study it for a 100!

I took this course this summer and I am glad that I did. Dr. Ratusnik is very knowledgeable on the subject. The only thing is there are no PowerPoints, so I recommend bringing a laptop to type everything he says. If anything is missed, he will go over it the next class by doing a mini review of what he said last class. Awesome class !

Class consists of: 2 article critiques (he gives you 100% for doing them), 2 exams (did not pay attention in class, used the study guide and got A's), 1 drawing project, and your presentation (easy A) and everyone else's presentation quiz (easy A). Overall, minimal effort, easy class. Only needed the book for your presentation.

Comment:

Dr. Ratusnik is a good professor. His lectures are a bit out there, and you will need to attend class, this is not one to skip out on. However, he is very kind and understanding, and explains the intense information in a way that is easily understood. He gives a 10pt curve on the tests, and wants his students to learn, not just barely get by.

Comment:

This class wasn't that bad. The only thing I did not like about it is that there is only two tests which account for 80% of your overall grade. The tests were stressful and contained a lot of material. Make sure to pay attention to his test reviews and study and you should do fine. He gives 10pt curves on both of his tests, which helps a lot.

Dr. Ratusnik is such a nice guy, and is very knowledgable but also very disorganized. His class is EXTREMELY lecture heavy, and he never uses powerpoints. There's a group presentation/outline of one chapter so you will need the book. The group project, a drawing project (easy but time consuming) and two tests make up your grade.

Comment:

Knows his stuff but not very good at relaying it to students. Book only necessary for a group project on 1 chapter. Only 2 exams. He is so disorganized that you will panic but I promise it is easy. Go to his famous focused reviews and study that for the tests. Attendance isn't mandatory but there are chapter quizzes every class. Very nice guy.

Professor Ratusnik is a very knowledgable man. It is very clear in class that he knows this information like the back of his hard and he is very good at explaining things. You have 2 test, 2 article critiques and a 2 easy projects. Test are a bit intense but if you put in the work its easy to do well.

Great professor but it's a very easy class. His lectures are entertaining and animated but not very organized. There are group projects and its used as an easy A to boost your grade. He gives a "famous focused review" for a test where he basically tells you the question that will be on the test so that you memorize the word when you study.

Did not enjoy the lack of structure at first, but I learned to roll with it. He is very clear about his expectations for knowledge going into exams. The drawing project is surprisingly fun. He is very knowledgable. I've definitely learned a lot from the course even though the format is less organized than I prefer.

Awesome teacher! Drawing project easy but time consuming. 2 tests. EVERYTHING ON QUIZLET STUDY THAT. Famous focus is also great. 1 group project on a chapter so youll need book for that and to help study for test. Group project easy. Quiz given by classmates on their presentations. Gives everyone A's. on quizzes. Go to class you'll learn a lot.

Comment:

I absolutely love Dr. Ratusnik! He is such a caring and inspirational professor. You definitely have to study a lot and work hard for your grade but it is worth it. Ratusnik lectures a lot but he makes them interesting and wants to make sure you succeed in his class. He also applies what you learn to the real world and your future field.

He's a very sweet man but I didn't feel that I learned enough for a full term course. I got a 106 in his class but didn't work too hard for it. If you want an easy A and not learn too much then he's your guy!

This class is an easy A I kinda went to class and I never took notes. I got A's on his tests because I studied the book, if you are good at self teaching and you hate lectures like I do this is the perfect class. 3101's test are in class but they are easy if you read and 4476's tests are take home and easy if you just write a lot. Overall he's good

Very lazy. If you want an easy A, take him. If you want to learn, take someone else. He doesn't read ANYTHING we submit, his TA does literally all of the grading. No powerpoints, and extremely lecture heavy. There are two tests, mini quizzes and one group project, but I'm pretty sure everyone gets an A in his class...
