AMAZING PROFESSOR. I took her class during Summer 2019, she is always available and replies quickly, very professional. Homework, 3 Exams, 1 Final. I am eternally grateful she posted videos of the practice exams and gave us the practice exams 1 week ahead of time. I would recommend her 100% best Calculus Professor. Thank you Professor Wong!

the best math professor ever i have taken at LAMC. If you need to take a math class and her is able to teach that class take her, you won't regret. she is funny, willing to help you during her office hours, replies feedback so fast, and offers extra credit. TAKER HER

She seriously is the best. She cares so much to help you pass. This was a online class we only met on wednesdays for the test and thursday for the final. She tutored me on tuesdays during her office hours. If she sees youre willing to try, she will do all she can to help you. I recommend her so much.

Ms. Wong is a caring teacher and takes time to explain things to her students. She gives practice exams that are extremely relevant to the course and actual exams. She also gives extra credit highest being 5 per practice. I highly recommended her and she is approachable during her office hours.

I took her for Calc 1&3. Every time I use calc in physics/engineering, I use the techniques she taught me. Follow this: Do the HW, take notes / (read her notes and watch Prof Leonard videos on youTube; very important for the online courses), you will be a calculus genius. Exams are from HW/lecture. Professor Wong is AWESOME! She's sweet, friendly, easygoing,laid back, and willing to help you. I was stuck on some chapters and she emailed me and told me to come to her office so she can help me. She did, and she gives partial credit, and she reviews before each test. She is the best math professor at mission, made the class easy, I got an A

Professor Wong is very committed to helping you pass. She tutored me on her own time to help me pass the course. She is very clear on your progress and keeps it posted. She answers emails, even on the weekends. I never waited for an answer more than 30 minutes.

Her accent is a little confusing, but more than anything she goes through the material very quickly so PAY ATTENTION. However, she knows it's very fast paced so she is very kind and pushes homework assignments and tests a week or a few days down DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK. Also, ask all the questions you need to ask, trust me she doesn't mind at all.

Comment:

Good teacher. It's a tough class but she is very helpful and tries her best to make it easier. Accent wasn't bad and she easy to talk to or ask for help. There's a lot of homework but its for your own good. She also lets you use formula sheet on exams which is great! I got an A by attending class, doing homework, and attending math lab when needed.

Ms. Wong is a great professor. At the Calc 2 level she does not really care about your homeworks, but DO THEM. If you know how to do all the problems assigned, the quizzes and tests are a cakewalk. She drops one out of five tests, two out of six quizzes, and lastly a dreaded cumulative final. She is very fair on her tests problems.

She's very nice and understanding. Power points are very helpful. She is a Great Professor! She does have a little accent but is an approachable Professor who is always willing to help. Not many exams. Study and you will do Great!

i took the online class i got a B. its a lot of work and you need to put in some time to get a decent grade. but it wasnt a easy class i had to teach myself because the teacher had a strong accent. just study the practice test very well that helps.

She's not a bad teacher but all I have are bad things to say. First off her accent is HORRIBLE! The coursework is fine and simple enough if you take the time to teach yourself but what is bothersome is the weight of the tests. You could score 90-100 on all your HW and if you do mediocre on the tests. You WILL NOT pass. Not even close.

She is a great professor, however there are times when she goes way too fast in explaining things. The homework is online. Quizzes are pretty easy. Tests are very hard but she gives sample tests. She tries to help as much as possible. Plan on putting aside a couple hours a week just for this class if you want to get an A.

Class examples were easy to follow, she was thorough with the course material, and her quizzes/exams were always based off the homework (no surprises!). If you had trouble with any HW she'd even spend a few minutes each class showing how to solve that particular problem. Great teacher, best math professor I've ever had, highly recommended.

Comment:

Ms. Wong is by far the BEST math professor I've had throughout my college years. She takes the time to go over any questions students have and makes sure everyone of her students understands the material before moving on. She is very quick on grading and fair. She drops 2 lowest quizzes and 1 lowest test grade. I highly recommend her!!

She is honestly one of the best teachers I have ever had! Even though she has an accent she has the absolute ability and knowledge to teach all levels as long as you give up your share in the class! She has the energy and faith in her students that teachers nowadays seem to lack! Take her I guaranteed you, you won't regret it!!!!
