Dr. Kraemer is a very disorganized person outside of class (good luck meeting with her), but inside class she is your lifeline. She was a professor at Yale and chose to stay at Southern. In her 471 and 472 concurrent classes she helps you apply to grad schools and write your personal statements, as she used to review Yale applications. 12/10 prof

I had Doctor Kraemer for the 471& 472 internship seminar. This class seemed intimidating at first, but it really isn't bad. You are only allowed to miss one class, so make it count. She talks a lot so you'll probably be doing a lot of doodling. There are about three presentations, one really formal One about your internship. Overall, she's great.

She is an awesome professor and is very straight forward. If you don't like the truth about the world and profession you are going into then don't even try. The speakers are mandatory but the class is not. But the way lecture is it is fun and it makes you want to come every week.

Awesome professor, awesome class. She gives you real life situations and the case studies are really interesting. There's only 2 assignments which are super easy and to your advantage. Exams aren't bad, use her study guides to study and attend the guest speakers.

FAVORITE, shes so great, her classes are so much fun, and her personality is so great. its not an EASY class, but its definitely not the hardest. text is obnoxious, but the case book is fun. loved her class so much!

Greatest professor I've ever had. I want to go back to Southern for my LPC just to take more classes with her. She's extremely intelligent and engaging. You'll love going to class, and the exams and assignments are very straightforward. I adore this woman.

Although very disorganized and the textbook not too good, she was very interesting and info presented was a combination of the mental health system, the actual people with psychological disabilities, sex education, speakers, and how to interact with clients in the counseling setting. No final if you complete all assignment & tests and go to talks.

Awesome professor, great personality and presence when lecturing. Extremely helpful with guiding students towards their careers, I recommend to all senior PSY students. Tests are multiple choice, but just read the case studies and know everyting on the study guide and you'll be fine. And guest speakers are mandatory.

I really liked her. She's very helpful & you can tell she cares about her students. She wants you to do well & tries her best to help you out. I don't know why so many people said the tests were hard. I was able to get high B's/low A's without reading it, a lot of it is common sense. You do have to read the case stories, but those are interesting.

An able second-rater whose simplistic thinking about psychological phenomena misleads young students but is squarely in line with their ability. Generally will go far out of her way to help anyone but beware she can be a back stabber. Genial mediorcrity personified.

very nice teacher and half the time you have guest speakers come which help your grade, the speakers are very interesting, the tests are difficult so you have to study, but overall this professor is never boring, keeps you entertained almost all the time, half your grade is a resume, a paper, attendance, and speakers,
