If you can't get an A in this class you should quit school and save your money. Attendance isn't mandatory and you won't miss much if you don't go to class. You get 5 attempts per quiz. There is a lot of extra credit. I got a 75% on the final and ended up with a 97% overall in the class. sshheeessh!!!

Wonderful professor. I took her hybrid class. Just make sure you do all the quizzes, online assignments, and the extra credit she offers and you can literally get an A for just guessing in the final. Highly recommended.

professor is very organized and well prepared before class. you watch a lot of movie clips in class but she posts everything online. there are quizzes for every chapter worth 50% of the final grade but you can take them as many times as you want so dont miss any. it all comes down to the final which is the other half of your grade.

Im what you would call your serious CSUN slacker and this class was pretty easy. There are 2 online quizzes every week..7 questions and retake it as many times as you want. That makes up 50% of your grade and the final is the other 50%. So yea as long as you ace all the quizzes it does come down to the final. Never have to come to class though

Hated this CLASS! I am an A student a I got a B-. There are a million stupid little quizzes that are pointless. It all comes down to the final. Lectures are clear, but class structure is terrible! No guidance! She's made me want to switch majors!!! Do not recommend!!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! Impossible to get good grades on quizes! I am an A student and have a C in this class. Even though test online its hard and timed! Need to be in class gives quiz's with clickers. Do not recommend!! Is nice though but if you want an A dont take ! Also projects are very demanding

Best prof! Entertaining and fun class! Learned a lot. Very optimistic personality, love it. Only downside is that the tests are very tricky! Take this class if you want to learn. Attendance mandatory for in-class quiz and 3 easy assignments with 3 exams. Didnt buy book and got a C overall.

Great professor. Learned a lot in the class. Only negative is that sometimes lectures are lengthy and can be a tad elementary. Tests are average difficulty. Read the book, show up for lecture, you will do fine. Don't let lecture make you think tests are easy. They aren't super difficult, but require good understanding of material.

Great prof. easy class and it is paperless. the test are straight from the ppt so study them. she is crystal clear on her lectures and gives plenty of examples. she grades on a curve. TAKE HER! TRUST ME!!!!!

Professor Zell is a great teacher. The class itself can get a bit dry, but if you study and follow the PowerPoint slides, you can get a good grade. Assignments are easy and quick. Professor Zell is highly recommended by me.

Dr. Zell is a very kind, very helpful professor. She is pretty reasonable when it comes to grading; but tests are definitely challenging. Book isn't mandatory - I got a B without buying the book and cramming 1 hr b4 exams.

she is awesome!sweet lady, very understanding,test come str8 from ppt on webct. u have to buy a XR clicker, but atleast u get test results same day. i didnt buy txtbook n got a B+. but i nevr buy books. def recommend her. also get to watch episodes of the office and other shows/movies in class. u need to go to class 4 partcipation n quiz points.

She's one of the BEST professors at CSUN. 3 multiple choice tests and 2 easy assignments (you get full credit for doing them). She curves the tests and even provides extra credit.

Pretty good professor, not a difficult class if you keep up. Exams are difficult but they get easier after the first test. Attend class and it should be good.
