Comment:

I was so excited to take this class until we spent the first 1/2 of it on baby development. She was nice enough but the assignments were a waste of time and didn't help you retain any of the information necessary for the exams. If you have good memory recall you'll do well, but honestly I couldn't tell you one thing I took away from it.

I felt like none of the test material was covered in lectures, I read the whole textbook and still felt completely lost on every test. Seemed like lectures went on different topics than what would be on the test, and the study guides were not helpful except for the essay prompts.

I took this class online which can be very hit or miss and it was a big miss. Only a handful of assignments, which she graded super slowly, and a lot of reading. She doesn't provide anything but links to articles, no content that she made like lectures or slides. The textbook was both the most expensive and the most poorly written I've ever used.

Comment:

Great teacher! She cares about her students and will do what she can to help them learn. She gives interesting assignments that get the class involved in what they are studying. I had to take a hardship withdrawal in this class and was sad to do so! I will definitely look for other classes that she is teaching!

Comment:

A great class, loved it! The attendance wasn't recorded openly, I thought there won't be grading in this part. Turned out she would just keep that in mind quitely and release the participation grade at the end of the quarter. Not too much tests, three in totally, reasonable hardness. Not much assignment but need to pay a lot attention in class.

The text book is an easy read. Just stay on top of the modules and you will do absolutely fine. Diana is amazing. Very supportive and good feedback. Keep an open line of communication if you're struggling and she will help you out! You get a lot out of this class.

I took Psyc 200 with Diana online. She was almost completely absent from the course. No lectures were uploaded, any posts from her seemed random, and rather stream-of-consciousness. Any time I asked her a question, her response was short and she seemed annoyed. Super easy class, you'll get an A no problem. Little value added by teacher.

Honestly, taking a class with Prof. Knauf is the smartest class choice selection that you could make at Shoreline CC. She is witty, informed, passionate about everyone's rights, understanding, and overall just an all out hilarious person. She delivers information in new and creative ways to help everyone to learn regardless of learning styles.

She's one of the best professors and teachers I've ever had in my life. She's entertaining and very respected. I've taken 3 of her classes and plan to take more! She's entertaining and I've learned a TON from her. She's always there to help. All exams are online and open note. If you didn't pass her classes you need to reevaluate your life choices.

Diana was a very amusing instructor, but she went off on tangents like all the time. She expects things to be turned on time, except there were a few deadline extensions only because she hadn't graded anything. Don't expect to see your grade or assignments graded until the end of the quarter.

I just took Diana Online psych 200 class this summer. If you are you to take her online class get ready for homework research type, and even the discussions are like that. I pass the class with good grade but if you have other option of taking this class do that. Her instruction are very vague. It sometime take me a day or two to get a clear pictur

She spends too much time trying to be the "cool prof" by telling her "cool" stories and not enough time teaching the material. I was really looking forward to taking this class and ultimately didn't learn anything. A serious let down. Take this class if you want to make a 50 year old feel cool, don't take it if you want to learn about Soc. Psych.

She is an amazing teacher! She's very passionate and know what she's talking about. She might be slow at grading because of her hectic schedule but it wasn't a big deal. One thing I particularly don't like is the test. Sometimes the questions are absurd and questionable (She got them somewhere online.) She also gives extra credits which help :)

Very thoughtful prof who finds pleasure in the success of her students. Say something funnyinterestingintellectual? She rewards you with one point extra credit each time. Tests are all about the psychological theories you are learning being applied to the real world. Meaning you can just read a book, you need to comprehend. Up for the challenge?!

Diana's lifespan class is two hours but they fly by. She is a super reasonable person and gives a ten to fifteen minute break. She allows you to eat and drink in her class. Her humor keeps you interested. One of the best teachers at shoreline! I want to take every one of her classes :)

Diana is one of the best teachers I've ever had in my entire educational career! She is hilarious, easily approachable, and just by listening to her lectures you absorb so much without even trying. Her classroom always has a great atmosphere that encourages learning. She's very passionate about her job and what she teaches. She's awesome!!
