Beware! Many of days in her classes are outside of campus and entail going to mandatory events to volunteer. The sports psych class specifically, requires you to work on fundraising 90% of the semester for a group called "Griffins Friends" . You will be graded on how much money you raise. If you don't attend outside campus events YOU WILL FAIL!

A very caring professor, will do anything to help you. She's kinda boring during class. Only 5 quizzes, no exams. Portfolio project sucks, and everyone hates it. Not really any homework except to do the hard portfolio.

I had her for foundations 2. Loved the class, learned a lot about myself and goal setting but rarely teaches, quizzes from the book are extremely difficult. As soon as she assigns something, DO IT! Do NOT wait you will regret it. portfolio project SUCKS!!

Women and Sport was my first ever online class and it has been enjoyable. Weekly assignments are pretty easy. She posts each new week every Tuesday and initial posts are due Sunday and response posts are due the following Tuesday so it's sometimes easy to forget to do your work. She is very caring, and always answers emails and questions right away

Professor Schwartz is very helpful and enthusiastic when she teaches. She has a lot of assignments that seem pointless but they are easy enough. There was only one test at the end of the term and a few projects throughout, not bad at all.

Dr. Schwartz is a difficult but great teacher. She expects alot from her students but it will help you out in the long run. She offered to write me rec for grad school after having me in class for a month so get on her good side! I changed my major but I'll miss having her as a professor.

Foundations II is 100% more easier then Foundations I. You have Alot of project with this lady and the biggest being a Sociological Research paper in foundations II in which shes a madd woman in looking for plgiarism. not to mention 10+ pages. Foundations 1 you have another paper and this paper consists of 12+ pages.She is a nice lady though

Foundations II is soo much better then I its not even close. The material is just so much more interesting it makes the class much more engaging and less boring. She's a pretty cool teacher, nice lady, definitely always willing to help. Remember MODERATION.

gotta love dr. schwartz. she is an amazing professor and cares about her students. She takes the time to get to know everyone in her class. She is not an easy teacher but you will leave the class learning something!

Good teacher, not too demanding. Sometimes does hand out gigantic packets that you "have to" read but she never checks them. She's very feminist. But she means well. She's always willing to help. Plus if you're in the 7:50 Foundations class she knows you mean business so she'll like you a lot more.
