professor shames is an amazing professor she knows her stuff and is not afraid she show it. professor shames is also a very clear grader if she doesnt like your work she will let you know or shell just tell you its not her problem which is a favorite quote of hers she is also very funny and always makes me look forward to coming to class .

Ms. Shames is an awesome professor. She cares about all her students and wants them to succeed and pass. I have learned so much from her. I learned about politics, newspapers, reading etc. I would recommend taking her class!

I was not happy to have to take this class, but I am so glad I did. Mrs. Shames is a wonderful teacher. I learned about everything, newspapers, reading, politics, life. But I quit getting her to understand jawn and use it right!

This is my first semester with Dr. Shames. She has taught me how to read and understand the newspaper and politics. We are working on debates now taking a stand on immigration. I have never worked so hard in my life. She makes me want to work hard

I never read the newspaper before, and now I read it every day. I never understood why reading the news was so important. I couldn't understand the political cartoons. I still don't like them but I get them. She keeps the class moving, makes me laugh. I wish she could teach some of my other teachers how to teach.

Shames is funny, interesting, and keeps your attention. But don't let this fool you. She is erious about her assignments and about participating in class. Her mottos are "your lack of preparation should not inconvenience the class or me" and " don't come in to class a half an hour late with Starbucks in your hand ( unless you have one for me ."
