Comment:
Professor Clark is probably the most pure being to ever exist. Genuinely cares about her students and is interested in teaching what she has to offer; very intelligent and insightful person. Her lectures are eye-opening and interesting, but her soft-spokenness might lull you to sleep. Attendance is chill; weekly journals can be googled; easy A.

I love Professor Clarke, she is an angel! The class is an easy A. One group presentation that is graded easily. One midterm and one take home final. The readings are great children books and it is a lot of reading but it is ok if you miss a few reads because you can just show up to class and take notes of the readings to use it for your journal.

Good professor! Lots of reading is assigned but if you attend class every day and take notes, you'll have things to write about for your journal entries and enough knowledge for the exams. Final is take home. Interesting topics, 1 major presentation. Super easy grader.

I thought the subject matter was interesting. Lectures were clear and made me think differently about my views of childhood and children's literature. She's an easy grader and very sweet. If the material interests you, you can definitely get something out of the class, but if you're not, just do the work and you'll probably get an A.

The easiest teacher I've taken at CSUN! Midterm, final, one group presentation, and journals. She gives midterm and final questions ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect. Final is taken at home. Only thing, really boring class. She tries to make it interesting but doesn't succeed very much. But definitely take for an easy A!

Like every other class, this class requires attention and dedication. As long as you do the work, you'll do fine in the class. Even though the essays are graded "harshly" she helps you understand your mistakes and lets you modify your papers for the final portfolio. Overall, she's awesome!

Easy. you just need to complete everything. We do journals, a midterm, a research paper, and a presentation. They are no big deal. Take her and i'm sure you will not have a problem.

Dr. Clark is a wonderful caring person. Her syllabus is clear as are her assignments. I learned a lot about writing, peer review, and editing. She allowed us to edit our three papers as much as we wanted to improve our grade. I highly recommend her class.
