Comment:

Dr. Dashiell is one of the most amazing professors I have ever had. She is also my advisor and she's delightful. She really cares about her students and will always listen to your concerns or questions. I highly recommend her. You have to work for your grade but it's college and that's to be expected. Dr. D is truly the best professor I've ever had

I haven't had her as a teacher and I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day but I had a meeting with her and it went absolutely horrible. Did not feel welcomed into the program at all and it actually was so bad it made me consider changing my major. Felt very disrespected

Comment:

Dr. Dashiell is such a wonderful professor and overall person. She is willing to talk through the giant end of term paper (start it early, seriously) with each student to be sure they're using the right cases. Her tests are completely fair and passable. Answers emails quickly. I learned a LOT about communication law with her. Make sure you attend.

Dr. D was a wonderful professor. She absolutely knows her stuff. She emails you reminders and talks you through the large paper. Her tests are incredibly fair, if you go to class you will do well. She's hilarious and loves to answer questions. One of my favorite professors.

Absolutely take this class with Dr. D. She's funny and interesting, which makes the mandatory attendance a little better. Also, she gives extra credit if you attend every class. Her tests aren't terrible (studying for like an hour should be more than enough if you take notes), but the paper at the end will kick your ass.

Super good professor, always there when you need help, all notes are Included in her book so made herself. Always in an amazing mood which makes her class so much fun! Fair on grades and very understanding. Let's class out early about everyday because she realizes that she just needs to get her point across and not just take up your time. Recommend

Dr. D is a great teacher. Knows her stuff, and wants you to ask questions. The analysis paper towards the end of the semester is definitely NOT a paper you can wait till the night before to do, a lot of research and thought needs to go into it. But Communication Law was a fun class with her.

A lot of people dread this class but if you take it with Dr. Dashiell, I think you'll end up liking it. She is funny and also very clear in her lectures. Tests are kind of tough but if you go to class every day and study your notes, you'll do fine.

I thought this class would be hard, but Dr. D makes it interesting by choosing to discuss cases the class can relate to. She's very organized, and was willing to push paper deadlines back if we wanted her to, which is always a plus! :)

Dr. D is very clear and concise, and if you get your work done, you never stay for the entire class. I enjoyed the assignments, but they weren't easy. She will challange you, but it's in a good way. Highly recommended.

If you're taking Radio Broadcast News, take it with Eddith Dashiell. She's very nice and very helpful, and if you have any idea how to write news going in (which you should), you'll be fine and get an A. I am defitely taking her for JOUR 411.
