Comment:

She's such a sweet teacher and is willing to sit and go over problems you need help with. Gives late deadlines for projects and is really forgiving. Very straightforward and pushes you to finish the class early.

Comment:

Professor Uribe was awesome at explaining mathematical concepts in an easy way. This class was in person but the assignments were all in software you log into online. So you don't really need to attend class unless you need face-to-face help. She's super funny and friendly. Complete the assignments and you'll have a tough time not getting an A.

She grades you accordingly, to HER standards. She grades you on how well you work out the problem instead of the answer. I got no credit for the class despite being up to date on the online course and doing extremely well. Be cautious and learn HER standards to pass the class.

She is very easy-going and explains the topics really well. I was able to finish Math 75 and Math 100 in one semester because I felt like she gave us a lot of motivation. She also claims to be an English major or was originally an English major before becoming a math p, so I think thats why its easy to understand her when she explains the problems.

Enjoyed her class every day of the semester. Everything is online so it is also accessible at home excluding the tests and quizzes. She is very nice and upbeat. Need more professors like her. Overall would take again!!

Very hilarious and super nice. It's in class but we do everything online. HW is super easy and the tests are also easy because you can take the prep tests as many times as you want. If you finish Math 75 early enough you can do Math 100 and finish that in a week. I did that and now my days are shorter.

Emily is an amazing teacher with so much knowledge. She was able to make me understand math in a whole new light. She taught ways that made me understand the problems and get the correct answers. Super compassionate and understanding. Just amazing!!!

Emily saved me! She is truly a caring and compassionate teacher. I was struggling with a lot of sections but she sat down and broke everything down up until I finally understood it. She is a visual teacher and she wants to make sure you, as the student, see the process of math. I highly recommend taking her.

Ms. Emily is really there to assist with a self-paced class. She quickly responds to the first student who asks for help, but will spend way too much time with them while others need help. Overall, an easy class if you apply yourself to get through the lessons outside of class. Quizzes are easy. I finished 2 weeks early.

Come on students this is a college course. No compassion? This teacher is great! She's helpful and provides clear explanations. The coursework is through MathLab so you have the option of working at your own pace. I do advise you to try to keep up and get the help if needed. Otherwise you will fail if you don't keep up. Overall great Teacher!

Miss Emily is so passionate, intelligent, helpful, approachable, encouraging and funny!! What more could you want in a math teacher?! Lol. She will walk around and make sure everyone is on track but at the same time, we're all adults so if you don't do as she says or complete h/w then u will get left behind... Up to u if you want to pass/fail.

Very nice teacher and super funny. Most of the work is done on mymathlab. She's always willing to help if you ask and explains things in easier terms so that you can understand. Math 103 is hard and there's a lot of work, you're also given a lot of chances to retake exams and quizzes.
