If you are having trouble with a topic, she will work twice as hard to help you understand the material. But if your class doesnt say we dont understand or if you dont ask her questions during office hours, she wont know how to help you. If you work hard for her class, shell work just as hard for you.

She is the best Teacher in the world my advice is to DO THE HOMEWORK!!!!! if you dont hahahaa you will not pass this class. I did all the homework and did all the problems and it was a Easy A. She will help you with any problems that you might have she wants you to get an A so Show that you want it!

You need to learn Chinese before taking the class. Couldn't understand if she was saying "Sheet","Seat","Seed", or "Sheep". How her clarity rating is above a 1.0 baffles me. Cant avoid this class, so this only serves as a heads up for new students.

She questions what is wrong with the class not what is wrong with her teaching. She will not set up tutoring until the 4th week into the class and even then the tutor does not show up the week before the tes

For a tough class, she explains material in a clear and easy fashion. Her tests are very hard and require you to not only study the slides, but to read the book. Homework is also a mandatory burden at times. All in all, at the end she'll give you the grade you deserve. As long as you show her you're doing your best you'll pass with a C

She's a good teacher overall.. I had her for chem lab and just make sure that in your lab reports you go straight to the point, not too wordy.. I wrote alot but then learned what she wanted.. now i learned how to write an appropiate chem report.. she's a very nice lady and willing to help.. just keep up with her work and and you'll do good!

She is so nice! She made it easy for me to learn the same stuff I did in AP chem, but this time I got an A. We go at a really slow pace, so we dont learn some important stuff, like electrochemistry. She also spends a lot of time making sure u know algebra, which is annoying. You get quizzes every class, but they're not hard, and they help a lot.

hard teacher, but she makes learning chemistry worthwhile. quizzes everyday, which may seem like a pain at first, but it really helps you with the exams. homework counts as an easy grade and there are always extra credit on the exams. wonderful teacher...she'll do whatever it takes to make you succeed in the class and in the outside world

Dr. Chen is extremely helpful in and outside of the classroom. She is very availible to her students and a very nice person overall. She wants you to succeed and is will to help you do so. Is a hard grader but really makes you earn your grades in a good way. I learned alot in her class.
