I have to laugh at these comments! I was in the MIT program 23 years ago, and Gail did the same thing. 1) Don't disagree with her. SHe'll get really pissed. (SO what's the point?); 2) She lives in her own world. The program was way too PC, even back then.

Professor Tremblay is a real straight shooter with strong leadership skills. This American Indian professor is a real gem! Word of advice don't mess with the Big Bear! You may think she's sleeping in class but she's simply a profound thinker. FYI, Gail is a serious Evangelical Christian thereby if your not religious beware of the bear.

She is very passionate about her teaching but I am thankful she is retiring. If your opinions class with her's or your views are different, she won't hear of it as she is steadfast that her own opinions/beliefs are all that matters. There are times I wanted walk out in frustration due to this. She often falls asleep in class ..

Yes, she's a smart women with a lot of experience, & can give great feedback. No, she shouldn't be a teacher. Poor health & a poor attitude. Class is delayed due to health problems, constantly falls asleep mid sentence, will not accept anyone's opinions or ideas but her own. Gives credit to students who don't show up to class. I want a refund.

Gail does have a lot of wisdom, but throughout this class period, I have felt neglected, felt my opinions don't matter and have learned almost nothing but what she thinks. I am paying thousands of dollars and she is sleeping and snoring the entire time even when others are presenting.

I worked with her in the Spring and she was incredibly encouraging. We didn't have a whole lot of contact personally but she is a very sweet lady and is deffinately excited about art. I haven't taken a program from her but I would. She has a ton of experiance with what she's doing and although the shape she's in she still travels and makes art. I thought she was very inspiring.

Falls asleep in class, which is really awkward and makes it difficult to pay attention. Also tends to jump down the throats of people who disagree with her. Not very helpful to struggling students. Tends to sidetrack the subject of the class in favor of personal anecdotes.
